where do you take your z to have work done etc? getting my car down to baggins and back has been a nightmare!!

That was me matey at the open! lol I was not posing I was lost! stupid copper sent me down that road I just wanted outta St a's and back to the RAF base there! My cars just had an engine rebuild by baggins at ztech with new turbos! im out in her a lot at the mo to run it in. What you think to the golf so far then? :)

Well that would explain a lot! What about indication? I get no light on the dash with or without this plug connected!

I own a 1991 Jap import tt. Ive not had it long so dont know a great deal about the car. I am aware however about the hicas 4 wheel steering system. My rear wheels are fixed and do not turn. (except to roll before the sarc). I have checked fuse this is ok. On the solenoid next to the hicas resevoir I noticed a plug had been disconnected and ty wrapped out of the way. Thinking this was a quick fix I promptly reconnected and monitored rear wheels as i turned the steering wheel. They still do not turn!!! Res level seems good. Any suggestions???

Tizer trust me I am pissed beyond belief!! Ive had the engine compression checked and on the right bank, 2 out of the 3 cylinders are showing zero compression. The others are all ok. The fuel filter on the car ive been told is far too small and probably has something to do with it. The guy I bought it off just replaced that filter so maybe I have some come back there. cheers for all your help :)

Its just the lump I need. Think the turbos are fine.

No warranty. It was a private trade. I paid 4500 for it. everything looked mint. did 100 miles in it b4 I bought it.

Worst case scenario. Just bought a Z32 TT on a J plate. It didnt even get back home when the power faded and blue smoke bellowed out both pipes. Compression testing showed no compression whatsoever for 3 cylinders. Ive been advised best way to proceed is to replace engine! Wheres the best places to get hold of one? How much do they cost?
