  1. One of the reasons that "silly" threads are being locked or moved is that it clutters up the General Discussion area. Imagine if a prospective member had just found this site and was having a browse around, what sort of first impression do you think this sort of crap gives out? IMO this is mainly why the action has been taken... Steve :)
  2. To use the bonnet release hole, straighten out a metal coat hanger and tape your wire(s) securely to the tip. Then from the footwell poke the hanger through the bonnet release hole and up and it should appear in the engine bay with a bit of wiggling. You may need to bend the hanger before starting to help with the general upward direction... HTH Steve :)
  3. It's not too tricky if you've got some soldering experience Vini - you've just got to take your time and tread carefully ;) Feel free to contact me if you need any more info or if you've got any specific questions.. Steve :)
  4. Not tried traction control in the snow yet. Hopefully will get a chance this year! Racelogic claim that their system "can stop a deliberate wheelspin in the snow"  Has anyone else had a chance to try this? :D CheerZ Steve :)

Limewire is trojan free if you've downloaded it from http://www.limewire.com If you got it from another site, it could well have been compromised and had a trojan bolted on ;) Steve :)
  6. Sounds great - well chuffed for ya mate! Steve :)

Welcome back Andy - glad you're still alive and well :D Steve :)
  11. Have a great day bud :D Steve :)
  12. Sounds like a plan - also possible meet at the Grashopper (Westerham) on 11 December. See "Next SE Meet" in SE section ;) Steve :)
  13. Just spoke to Racelogic UK - launch will not work in an auto Zed so the option without launch would be the most cost effective route... Steve :)
  14. I don't think it's safe full stop :hurl:

I know the votes came out for November but I've just not had time to get anything organised guys :( How do people feel about a Sunday lunch meet at the Grasshopper on 11 December? I'll put up another thread if there is enough interest! CheerZ Steve :)
  18. Will double check them all this week bud... CheerZ Steve :)
  19. Hope you had a great day Nick! :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: CheerZ Steve :)
  20. I'll be organising a GB after Christmas ;) Steve :)
  21. Thanks Mark - may take you up on that. It's definitely a big leak or (I suspect) a pipe has popped off or become disconnected somewhere.. Or (as stated above) my compressor just isn't up to the job... :( CheerZ Steve :)
  22. LOL - they're Greddy side mounts Jeff and I remember SMW1 leaving off the ducting and related bolts when he fitted his. I made sure I didn't make the same mistake ;) It's definitely hidden away somewhere else (or my compressor is too puny  ) BTW I was hoping that the front bumper would go back on without a hitch - you've got me worrying now :D CheerZ Steve :)
  23. Hi fellas Have "recently" fitted new intercoolers and removed my carbon canister and before I put it all back together I've used my boost leak detector (for the first time) to check the intake system for leaks. I'm using a small compressor but I'm getting no positive pressure at all  All of the relevant intake pipes were blocked during the CC removal and the ICs are on securely. I'm pretty sure that I had a leak before the IC install (possibly after my Apexi BOVS went on  ) as I was only getting about 7psi on my aftermarket gauge  Does anyone have a diagram showing the complete routing of the vacuum lines and pipes which make up the intake system or is it just a case of being methodical and following them all? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated! CheerZ Steve :)
