Clear Rear Lens Kit
These are the same ones that Tony Lack installed on his car. I've seen them and they look great. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20785 Off to order some I think. Just waiting for the shipping costs from the seller... Cheerz Steve

Clear Rear Lens Kit
Looks interesting. Couple of questions though: What did they charge you for shipping to the UK? Have you received yours yet? If so, what do you think of the product? Cheerz Steve

Garage/mechanic in SE London
Hi Andy Not many good garages/mechanics round our way that I know of. You may want to take a look at Abbey Motorsport (http://www.abbeymotorsport.co.uk/) who are just outside London (can be expensive though). It really depends what you want doing (general servicing or performance mods). Abbey are better for mods IMO. The online manual that Ajay mentioned is here: http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi HTH! Cheerz Steve

If you had a bad autobox.....
SE's current catalogue quotes £1400 for the fast road rebuild plus £250 for removal/refitting (includes transmission oil refill). You may also need to replace your autobox oil cooler which is about £249 plus £49 fitting. Cheerz Steve

Radar /laser Detectors
Hi Chris I've had the Bel Euro 550 for about 18 months now. I've had two other models previously and it's the best one I've used. It's more expensive than some but it's totally configurable (even down to disabling certain frequencies if required). Excellent product with good range and UK compatibility. You can get them from Bel Direct on the net for just over £300 - http://www.beldirect.co.uk/bel550.htm Also, Jaffa is selling his here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20636 HTH! Which way is this place heading?
This is the best Z32 forum on the net IMHO. I occasionally use others for reference but I check back here 2 or 3 times a day. I've been to a few meets and met some great people. It has a membership with a huge amount of technical knowledge. It also makes me LOL frequently! The Admins and Mods do a great and thankless job. Of course it's never going to reclaim the exciting and ground breaking feeling it had when it was started, but that's life. All things (including internet forums) evolve and move on eventually. It's up to us (the members) to decide on which way it should be going... Cheerz Steve

another joke
A man calls in sick one morning. His boss is quite p*ssed off and grabs the phone from his secretary to speak to the employee. "Yes I know you're not feeling well, but how sick are you?" he asks. "Well, I'm in bed shagging my sister" he replies. "Is that sick enough for you...?" :D :D :D

How did you get on Mac? I know that they are v quick motors :D :D :D

Mercedes 230 AMG
All it had on the back was the AMG badge and "230". I didn't get a good look at the front of it - seemed quick though... ;)

Mercedes 230 AMG
Not sure I've seen one of these before - not very sporty looking but it had a fair bit of grunt! He started in front of me as we came off the M25 onto the A22 towards Croydon. Stopped at the lights on the roandabout then off we went - road goes into two lanes and turns into dual carriageway! I indicate to overtake him and as I do he indicates and cuts me up! Then it's foot to the floor in second and third and I'm right behind him, change up to fourth and he finally relents and pulls in to let me pass (approx 110). Didn't see him again... :D :D :D ;) Another kill for the Zed community... Cheerz Steve PS. Also did an Audi TT tonight but not really worth mentioning... ;)

Something about zeds and radar detectors
I've mounted mine above the rear view mirror, but to save the mess of wiring, I've simply soldered it directly into the courtesy light circuit (standard 12V). This way, it's got better reception, it's more visible to you (the driver) and it's less noticable to thieves who might want to nick it! It's a quick and painless job. Be aware however, that this circuit is live all the time so you need to switch the detector on and off manually... ;) Cheerz Steve
