  1. Neither XP Home or XP Pro come with Word, Excel, Outlook etc.. as standard. Take a look at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/whichxp.asp for the major differences. Cheerz Steve
  2. Hi Danny I wouldn't bother with XP Professional if you are not going to be connected to a network. XP Pro allows you to join a domain (usually found in a corporate/office environment). XP Home should be fine for you mate and will save you about £35... Cheerz Steve
  3. No probs mate! SE's phone number is 01621 858856. AndyZ may be cheaper though. He's on 01634 221783 or 07761 763474. Good luck! Steve
  4. Dave, try Andy Z at http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=28 He sometimes has these in stock. Otherwise SE Nissan supply them for about £20... HTH Steve
  5. I used to be a member of the MR2 owners club and this is exactly what they encouraged their members to do. We got a couple of flyers with our welcome pack (we could just e-mail these out) and it was an excellent way of introducing new recruits. Steve
  6. I think that a Big Mac would have sorted her out :D :D :D (couldn't resist that one ;) ) Steve

  20. Aarons's perspective on this is interesting but as he points out, the scale of the RTOC is probably far in excess of what we shall ever see 300zx.co.uk becoming. I didn't really anticipate getting free track days and the like for my 20 quid and I'm sure that others don't have the same expectations. The whole club ethos is about doing stuff together and furthering the interests of the members (be it organised group buys, insurance, social events etc..). I realise that we already do this to an extent, but as AndrewG points out, we really need to officially take on club status to enjoy the legal benefits... I still think it's a good idea and we do need input from members as to what they would like to see more (or less!) of. This really is an opportunity to have a say in how we would all like the forum/club to move forward... Cheerz Steve
  21. Sorry Paul, but as far as I am aware there are only a handful of people that have had problems with Jeff. Even if someone does have a problem they should be able to sort it out without resorting to this level of crap.. I saw Vinz and Jeff shaking hands and being very civil with each other. Andy is also said to have come to a truce with Jeff. I think it was probably a combination of boredom and booze which caused the problems this weekend. This is no excuse however, and feel really badly for Jeff and his daughter... If I had turned up at Billing to promote my business and recieved this sort of treatment I don't want to think about what I'd be doing right now..   Steve
  22. Adam, I suspected you wouldn't manage to get that tent pitched ;) . Hope you had a great weekend and look forward to meeting you and Vicky again! Hope the back's on the mend :D :D Cheerz Steve
  23. Know what you mean Jock - the journey back from Billing was "eventful". The Racelogic system can be set up to cut the spark, but you will need the optional "Spark cut interface". Not sure about cost so probably best to ask them for details... Cheerz Steve
  24. Well I just got back from... Oh, Jock's beaten me to it! Was a top day and just a little wet at the end. Far better than the forecast predicted. Top cars and great to meet more of the forum members :D :D :D
  25. Hi Jez As Lee mentioned, Jap Performance Mag is always good. Free ad with a colour photo and you know that your audience is fairly relevant... Good luck mate! Steve
