  1. Agreed 17s will handle and fell better on the roads thats what I have coming, I have gone with 18s and 19s on cars in the past and even if I ran over an ant it will feel like I just went over a speed bump. IMO Looks are not everything.
  2. I am doing that as we speak and its involving a lot of work but you can find full instructions here: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/timingbelttech.html I am going to replace my pulley with a unorthodox light weight pulley so I am killing 2 birds with one stone. Worth doing IMHO
  3. Looks very good mate, you have now given me enough motivation to sort out my Z as I have the ported sub and pre made box and all the wiring kit etc, the only thing I need to do is make some encosures for my 5 way 6"x 9"s which I will do similar to yours with a cardboard template.
  4. If I held a container close to the pipe how long would it pi55 out for?? I might just wait untill I can run it. Anyway how's your car coming along bud??
  5. Cheers mate, so I will have to wait untill engine mods are complete and can run it then?? No way I can release the pressure without having to start it??
  6. I have read this lot: Fuel line kits. SAFETY FIRST:- Please release pressure in the fuel line system before you remove fuel lines. Take note of where the 2 main fuel lines from filter go to across the plenum, e.g the regulator and fuel rail. Remove all rubber hoses and metal fuel lines across plenum, keeping the small bolt that secures the metal lines to the plenum. Fit the 2 new high pressure braided lines, pushing well on to regulator and fuel rail. Position across the top of the plenum where the old lines were before and with the 2 rubber lined P-Clips, put each clip around each hose so that the openings face each other, lining up the bolt hole so that they are on top of each other, you can now secure to the plenum both clips with the bolt you have kept and into the same hole. Deep down under the Throttle cable cover is a very small length of line, remove this and re-fit using small piece supplied with hose bands. Simply fit the anodised separator where you think best suited. When you removed the hard lines, there was 2 pices of balck vacuum attached either side which now need connecting together, with the new silicone simply use this to replace these 2 bits in one go Tighten all hose ends and Re-check every so often for tightness. Pictures of these kits fitted can be found on my website or below in another sticky. But how do you release pressure in the fuel line system  Sorry if its a stupid question :nelson:

Ps Z Tech are in the Traders forum and I will not be going anywhere for a while as a lot of the Z is in the back garden   as carrying out a few engine mods and service. You could also try : http://www.southwestzeds.com/ Based in Bristol. But actually in Devon SFA that I know of.

I am reading all the 60k service info and I cannot see wher abouts these come into it  I see bits and pieces reffering to the idler pulley  If you could post a pic that would be good, sorry about all these questions but I am just trying to justify spending £150 to £50-£70 OEM.
