This is getting confusing for me, mine lights up like that, its a 1990 import, thought it was standard, there seems to be a few things on mine that say the cars been altered, or maybe theyre just standard on imports

Tried it once years ago on a bike tank, veeeerrrryyy labour intensive and not easy, if you stand your spray gun still for only a second you get too much flake in one area and it looks sh1t, took me six goes to get it right but then im not a pro.

WHen it happened i was traveling up a slight incline on the motorway, it was raining, and it stayed on for about 30 secs (i was doing about 60), what i didnt notice was the car stayed in second gear, as the light went out the car shifted up,just been t to try and duplicate it (any excuse to drive it!) same road, same speed, but no rain, and it didnt happen, dont suppose it would have been whelspin cos id have noticed, ill just have to keep my eye on it. One last question WOTS A TECH MEET??? :)

This may sound a realy stupid question but i hav a light that comes on on the dash sometimes that says power..... er wots it for?, also whats a tech day? Oh and while im at it, on a jap car, does the speed limiter actualy limit the speed, or is it just the reeeeeaaaaly f**kin annoying beeping thet occurs at about 110 kph??

I think you do, ive just done mine with houghtons, £350, and at first i didnt tell them i had another car and a van, the fella perked up considerably when i mentioned it, nothing but praise for these guys as i was quoted anything between £1700!! and £540 on the net. :shock:

Nope, just been down it, definitely no speed cams at least 2 miles each way, in fact none going towards manchester for quite a few miles, plenty of signs for them, but no actual cams, and i didnt think 60 was to bad, any faster and youd have to be on a motorway services! However as i said im new to this so im not sure what your looking for. ;)

New 2 this so not sure exactly how it works, but theres a pub on the east lancs road (A580) called the royal oak,its just the border of St Helens and Knowsley, Fair sized car park, and a straight road each way for about 2 miles with no speed cams, or hiding places, just in case you should stray over the speed limit on your way there you must undersand!!!

Years ago you used to be able to get a paint called VHT, (Very HighTemp) ive seen it used on rocker covers and even engine blocks (older cars where you can still see the block!!) with varying results, It all seems to be down to prepping, do half a job and only half the paint stays on, dont know if this would work on alluminium though coz i think you would have to use an etching primer first. So in conclusion.......I dont think ive been much use at all!!!
