Central Locking, gone belly up.
One last thing, there wont be a lot of room to play with in there. (now thats a switch for a Z) But stick with it, you'll get it in the end.

Central Locking, gone belly up.
Because it wasnt standard on Z's it will be where ever your alarm installer placed it. If you follow the back window guide rail down to the bottom of the door you should see it somewhere around there.

lol. ohh well thats the way it goes on ebay isnt it. I just needed one fast and it was a buy it now :D It was over a year now tho now and still working fine

What i did is take the door card off then use a screw driver to trick the door into thinking its shut. then used the remote to lock/unlock and looked inside the door to what moved and what didnt. I did spend a while using the remote and the key mechanisms to determine how it should work. if you can hear the actuator i think your bar has just come off and if your lucky the screws will still be attached to the clamp so you can just re-affix it.

Could be the activator or bar from it that attaches to the locking mechanism has come off (this is what happened to me). I ended up buying a whole new actuator from ebay for £12  and using only the bar. Best bet is to take the door card off and have a look

How do you rate Falken tyres?
Yep, Ive just replaced my rear tyres for FK-452's. They grip well, not tried them in the wet yet tho.

Your Zed experience? info for newbies
Same here, owned mine now for 6 years, paid £8.5k, and she's approaching 100k miles. Only had to replace things as OE parts wore out due to other modifications. If you mod a Z then OE parts will wear out quicker. Thats the way it goes !!

Worried My Car Is Slow
You could take to a dyno and get it measured if your that worried.
-
Worried My Car Is Slow
Agreed. A friend of mine had a standard RX7 and both cars were similar in speed. the Z felt alot smoother as opposed to the agressive throw you back in your seat action of the RX7. Once you start modifying, Z's become alot more agressive in the power delivery
