Retarded timing, even when warm
Andy, what should the TPS be reading? 0.44 on idle (closed throttle) and is it 4v or 5v on wide open throttle?

Retarded timing, even when warm
If I remember rightly the ECU just presumes the engine is at a base of 15 degrees so checking the engine timing with a strobe light, although worth doing anyway, I dont think it is the problem. For some reason the ECU wants to keep the timing advanced. Could be because of the sensor DaveMan mentioned. Give me a shout on Messenger later barry. Pete

19" Wheels
Agree with danny. Ive not noticed much difference in ride quality and i went from standards to 18" and then 19". I also think that the right 19" wheel looks fab on a Z. I personally prefer deep dish!

Classic car insurance
The only other thing you could look at is getting one of your parents to insure the car and put you down as a named driver. Car would need to be in your parents name and it may still be expensive but might be worth a shot. Good luck Pete

Classic car insurance
If you can find someone that will accept your age then a 3000 limited mileage policy might work. Try giving a few a call and see what they quote.
