Richard Burns - RIP
Oh crap. He was a star. And a young man too. I'm sad to see he lost his long fight. I knew he had it a while ago, but thought he retired from rallying because he got over it and needed a rest. :(:( RIP dude, hope you are in a better place now. Rob.

Dogs and kids? Well baby actually!
Hi Timmy you tart xxxxxxxxxx Rob is right i did breed rotties for a long time, and i never had one problem ever, they taught my sons how to walk, the boys could also take food from their mouths, i had 16 rotties at one point and i resuced them too.............. You have an advantage you know these dogs and they know you, start how you mean to go on, your top dog make sure you put them in their place, they are clever and intelligent and can be exceptional pets even around kids from babies to teens... so my opionion is go for it as for the comparison to labradors........if you check the bite charts that are out every year, labs and spaniels are the worst offenders, they are working dogs and get bored. the big difference is that a rottie has a bigger harder bite than the other two as they are soft mouthed dogs ..... i.e. they retrieve game so they dont leave teeth marks..... send a rottie to retrieve a pheasant and you will have teeth marks all over the bird. kids and rotties can and do mix real well...........as for trusting any dog 100% with a child is just foolish.......always aways beaware. i do trust my dogs with our little ones, but i do not leave them alone for long periods of time, nor do i let them hurt the dogs, thats just asking for something to happen. Timmy i wish you and your new lady all the luck with the baby, and i am sure the dogs will guard it with their lives if it came to it. lots of love and hugs Wendy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dogs and kids? Well baby actually!
Well as i said, dogs (and children ;)) need rules. The closer they stick to your rules, the easier your life becomes. Now where did i put that 2x2 with the 6" nails................................... ;) But it is great to see the dogs and kids rolling around having fun. It will be worth it if you can make it happen. :D:D

Dogs and kids? Well baby actually!
Tim, I will have a word with Wendy. She used to breed Rotties many moons ago and had them with small children without any problems. The difference being (as I see it) the dogs (as puppies) came along after the children were born. But dogs turn out however you train them. As Spinksy said, they need dicipline AND love in equal amounts. We have 2 kids (3 & 7) & 2 dogs (Goldie & Cocker) at the mo, all of them get along famously. We have 100% trust in the dogs with my kids. HTH R&W

NZR Skyline Drifter
Driftworks.... I just had a scan on the site, it seems the main guy there is Phil Morrison, I met him a couple of times, once at billing 3 years ago, and another time at a 200sx/300zx meet at Merry Hill (that only us two turned up at LOL) His S14 was lightly modded then, it must have been before he got into drifting. I read something in my son's Max Power (ahem) about him leading the D1 championship or summat..... He is a top bloke make no mistake :) 2p :p Rob.

Pothole....1 Mick....0
Take some photographs on 35mm film (digital not admissable) of the pothole before they repair it. Use a tape measure for scale. Had this happen to me in a 405 SRi around an island in birmingham, wendy was driving at the time, she hurt her back it was so fooking big. suspension was put out of line too. So we foned up to complain & they told us of the claims procedure. We thought it a good idea to take pics too, but we left it too long. IIRC they repaired it 2 days after, and we went back 3 days after. :headvswal
