  1. Because i was fed up of all the 4 bangers (4 cylinder ;)) cars previously. Yeah the 200sx revved higher than the previous lot, but it was a boring 4 cylinder noise. So sticking loyal to the marque i got me Z  with 6 cylinders and 2 tubs :p
  2. Hi Bird, my Father and I just fixed a rusty sill on my car (1990 UK). MOT fail from 18 months ago :mac1: We ended up making all the parts we needed, but Luke @ The Z Centre sell a few parts needed for this job. Not many L reg UK zeds out there any more. Keep it on the road mate. The sill is the most difficult thing on your list. http://www.zcentre.co.uk/others/others.shtml
  3. Thanks Steve :D Having fun again with twin turbo power now. I forgot what it was like :mac1:
  4. No worries mate :) did Steve get the other Nismo studs in ok? As for bank details lol, i havent had 5 minutes yet ;)
  5. Thank you Jon :D :duffer: for you mate :)
  6. Sorry mate, missed that one. You're most welcome anytime. I think we enjoyed messing with something different for a change. Speak soon.
  7. LMAO steel???? So it's actually going to be heavier than the stock aluminium bonnet then  Steer clear dude ;)
  8. Are you sure your exhaust valves are not burnt out through running with the timing so far out? You need to get an endoscope down the spark plug holes and visually check everything out before you commit to a set of pistons/rings.
  9. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=63341 ;)
  10. LOL! that modified knife is hilarious! Good weapon as it is silent ;)
  11. http://bagpuss.swan.ac.uk/dunk300zx/Z32_Pictures/ There are a load of pictures there from when I took my engine out first time round LOL 6 years ago ;)
  12. ahhh thank you Mike :)
  13. Jaffa... Z33 calipers up front are they?
  14. I've had 3 405's :wack: F reg H reg and L reg. They were all integrated into the wiper arm. A trip down your local breakers yard might see you bag a pair for a fiver Steve. EDIT: not sure of the diameter/splines measurements though. Might be worth taking a chance for a fiver or so though?
  15. LOL! is that mph or kmh? i would have to say kmh looking at boost gauge ;) So it's £100 for all the cds, or just buy memory cards for individual countries.. any idea on cost of the cards?
  16. Tom Tom 300............... does it do european roads too??
  17. 5cm it's pythagoras's rule. (4x4)+(3x3) then square root the answer ( i cannot find square root button on keyboard :wack: )
  18. awesome news mate!!!!!!!!!! all the very best :D R&W
  19. I have seen these pics before, a while ago. Car is NOT a ringer, it was caused by SPEED. Look at the missing bark on the trees. Look at the door wrapped round the tree. Look at the top of the steering wheel how bent over it is. Speedo stuck at 110kmh/68.2mph. I wouldn't like to crash into trees at motorway speeds.......... RIP all occupants in that car.
  20. Funny you should post this Smithy. My Father and I are just finishing off fully repairing a drivers side rusty sill. My suspicions were that drain pipe was dislodged and dripping water inside the sill. Passenger side drain tube & sill are fine. Get right underneath to check, just before the sill ends and goes vertical to make the wheelarch. That should be where the drain tube exits.
  21. That is very very impressive. Makes you wonder why nobody has done it sooner being quite a simple principle of detecting a change in voltage. I still got my jigsaw if anyone wants fingers/toes removed? :mac1:
  22. Ross fix her up mate. Mines been off the road for 18 months now, but i have rebuilt the gearbox and done loads of nigly jobs that needed doing. Final thing to do is repair drivers side sill (UK car like yours ;) ) It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming, Zed is coming home.................. Rob.
  23. hehe you got your numberplate edited out in the end :) sorry i could not help out. That looks like fantastic fun :D need more grip though. I guess tyres were stone cold and it looks cold out :S bring on the slicks :p Nice one!
  24. Yep, bought a set and they fitted perfectly. Only tiny problem was the hangers. But a bit of muscle and that fixed that :D
  25. dribble.................... 12,000rpm and RWD....................
