Ok, really thinking about selling the Zed. So far i have had it out the garage about 6 times this year, Thinking i might get something that i dont mind getting rained on. So the general details of the car: 1992 300zx TT LWB 48K Miles Manual 18'' wheels with Avon ZZ3 ( approx 5-6mm tread ) red Samco hoses Scorpion quad Exhaust braided brake pipes Flip out dvd/cd screen ( cost £1000 brand new ) Bilstien B6 shocks ( less than 500 miles on them ) Grey tweed interior Japspeed Lockout bar Now the car will be going in for a full respray before being sold, the reason for this is i have started to prep it for paint. Not saying i would do my own car like this, maybe if it was a track car. Just found it mental when i was told. Right enough on no close up, wonder if with the right prep and time taken it could be made to work?

Been in my current job for 7 months, but been in the motor trade for 11 years. Worked for every major motor factor in Scotland. Literally done every job there is in a factors starting as an apprentice parts man right up to branch manager. Now BDM for my current company which is by far the best i have worked for. Oh and to make you feel old Stella i was still in primary school when you started that job!!

As above really, will be looking to purchase a set of rear lights for the zed in the near future. Obviously there are the 99 spec lights, but are there any aftermarket lights that dont look tacky?? cheers in advance

Although i wont be there, would be awesome to fire up forza and blast a heavily tuned 300 round the ring see who gets the quickest time!! after a few shandies of course.

After watching man vs food i have wondered if there were places in the uk that had these challanges. Me and the G/F has spoke about doing route 66 for our 30th, And along the way taking some of these challanges on for a laugh. That breakfast looks awesome, though i couldnt touch the tomatoes or mushrooms.

How wide are your arch extensions? and have you dialed in any camber? I had worked out what specs i needed for 11's, Tbh i reckon i can get these to work even though they aren't my first choice wheels.

How far does your wheels stick out? Cause if im working this out right these would sit 40mm further in?

Ok, been offered a pair of wheels. Now specs on the wheels are 18x12 et20, fronts i can get no issues so not worried about those. So question is can i get away with some stretch, camber and an arch flare? I had planned on some 18x11's for the rear but for the price i think they are worth considering. Before anyne says they are too wide for a zed, I like cars that are all about stance, For me Baz's car is flipping awesome ( only mine is red and i can't get away with the arch extensions he has and i have no intention of going wide arch ).

If that aint the anti roll bar link i will be very very surprised. They go all the time on the focus!! Wee tip for you though when you go to your local factor they will tell you there is a choice of 2 steel or aluminium, They are exactly the same part just different material. Go for the steel version cost about £4 quid ( other 1 is about £10 ).

I agree with you regarding a low mileage car being stock looking, Thats why mine has minimal modifications ( it will change now though ). Aslong as the documents are there to back up mileage. No point claiming 20k just because thats what the clocks say.

To be fair, mine is a 92 with 48k and with some documents to back it up. So entirely possible, Still doesn't take away from the fact that this is clearly someone trying to pull a fast one with this zed.

Unless by 'show car' they mean it is able to get you to a show ( to see an actual show car )???? Cause if i rocked up to a show and that was on the main field i would leave!!!

Tbh i have always wanted to try painting with a gun but havent had the chance to do it, plus my garage isnt big enough. I may speak to the painter i know and see if we can work something out if i do all the prep and have a bash a spraying under his supervison. Luckily he works on his own but has a massive unit so plenty of space.

It was more because i want to do some body mods and thought it would be better going satin black than running about with some bits in primer.

Yeah mine is a uk model. Had a breif look the other day but wasnt sure which ones it was, plus its difficult to see where they go to. Hoefully someone can shed some light.
