  1. So fire on a wide arch kit, theres 60mm. Only another 25mm to find!! lol
  2. 85mm is nothing, get it done!!
  3. Make them fit!! they are awesome.
  4. Mines is driveable, let me know when you lot are having a meet and i will pop along.
  5. Never thought of doing it that way round if im honest. But thanks for confirming that.
  6. Ok bit if a strange one but here goes, I know that the zed shares the same shock absorber setup as the R32 GTR. Now would i be able to fit zed shocks and springs to a R32 GTR?? Reason i ask is i may be buying a GTR with the intention of punting it straight on, only it has a lovely set of tein coilovers on it which i fancy for the zed. I have bilstein b6 shocks on the zed which are fairly new ( rears havent even done 200 miles ). Cheers in advance
  7. That looks like a nightmare, wouldnt mind trying it but reckon id need to get a hell of a lot fitter before i started it!!
  8. I see what your saying, would ideally like it to look very subtle rather than just stuck on.
  9. Actually really liking that, were have you wired it into?
  10. It's only really for having a glance at though, not to stare at plus your more likely to look on a straight piece of road rather than a corner. Thats what made me think it wouldn't be the worst place. I will see if any other ideas come up.
  11. Ok, I have now purchased my boost gauge and will be fitting it this week. Now the question is were should i fit it in the cabin? I have been swaying towards removing the ashtray and fitting it there, but keeping the lid so to keep the standard look when closed. Anyone done this before or is there a reason why this isn't an option? Any other suggestions fire away. Cheers in advance
  12. TBH thats what i wanted to know, Got a couple of weeks off work coming up and am planning on ripping out all the bits in the bay that i dont want/need.
  13. Few choices for me: 1- http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3750282.htm ( Just awesome ) 2- http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3991049.htm ( It's an Aston and a V12 ) 3- http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3725379.htm ( Again awesome ) 4- http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3751998.htm ( V8 and room for the kids ) Not in any order there and defo more i could add.
  14. Ok, I am toying with the idea of removing the a/c from my zed. I am looking to remove as much as possible from the engine to make it less busy and a bit more presentable. Now how much of a difference is there between having it and not? ( in terms of components in the bay? ). I really enjoy having air con on my daily, but i reckon i can live without it on the zed. After all if it's hot then i can just whip off the targa's. Also another contribuing indecision on removing it is the fact that my zed has only done 48k, and i don't plan on putting mega miles on it. So would removing the air con have a massive effect on value? Cheers in advance
  15. Now that i like, bit less obvious than that but the placement is good. Maybe try make them look more part of it than stuck on. cheers.
  16. I'm looking for some more subtle ideas hopefully, I like the idea you have but would just prefer to be able to see them at all times.
  17. That is a neat idea, though would prefer to have them on show without the need to drive with the glove box open.
  18. Guys, Looking for some ideas on placement of my gauges i have ordered. Were have you all located yours? Pics if at all possible please. Cheers in advance
  19. Thanks for the link, seems not too bad actually. Now does anyone have pics of there gauges installed ( placement etc )?
  20. Could defo be interested, though i haven't been under the car i'm sure my mechanic had mentioned the exhaust had been patched at some point.
  21. Any pics of the tailpipe?
  22. Suppose, can't really complain if it's crap, and ifit does the job it's a bonus.
  23. I am looking at buying a boost gauge, now normally i would buy something like defi, greddy etc but i was having a look on ebay and noticed these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-52mm-Car-Gauge-Boost-Turbo-Psi-/261041808017?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cc74de291 Now it seems really cheap and there from Hong Kong, Which would normally put me right off but they seem to have sold loads and have decent(ish) feedback. Has anyone used of these gauges before?? In my head im thinking they are cheap for a reason but thought id ask the question. Cheers in advance.
  24. Any ideas where the best place to get some sound deadening? also any makes i should look out for?
  25. Iv have a scorpion quad exit system on my zed, now only just got it on the road but this g/f really doesn't like it. Seems to think it's too noisy when cruising, tbf it aint quiet. Is there any exhaust out there that are quiet when cruising but releases the grunt when pressing the loud pedal? Strange thing is i had a scorpion system on my old golf vr6 which was perfect. Cheers in advance
