I was meaning fitting 350z discs with the 300zx calipers, But i wasnt aware you could do the whole lot in 350z parts. Now thats interesting, as i believe when doing it the ther way the pad ends up with a lip on it due to not all of it covering the disc?

Quick question, Does anyone have the dimensions of the adaptors needed for the calipers when fitting 350Z discs?? Just i have a mate that runs an engineering shop so he can make the up for me, Sadly he is pretty busy so if i can give him the dimensions he can get them done for me quicker than if i take the car to him. Thankfully i work for a large motor factors so i never pay much for parts etc, don't think i could go back to paying £35 for oil!!

Good to know, I think i can get hold of the Shell oil aswell. Will make a decision on monday. Always good to know what is being used in other zeds.

Ok guys, what oil are you using in your zeds?? Looking at Mobil 1 as it's a good oil and i can get it at cost from work. But really just after the spec you are using e.g 10w40, 5w40?

Sadly not free but not alot of pennies, its a uk spec which has had all the sills chopped out and replaced by another guy i know. Will get some pics fired up this week coming. Cant argue for the cash is im honest, Scorpion quad exhaust system fitted, twin BOV's, 4 brand new 18'' tyres, new shocks all round and a few other bits all fitted at most 2months before it was parked up. Luckily for me my mate needs the space and hates any cars that ain't fords!!!

Tbh i think it will need new discs and pads all round. The car was abandoned at my mates garage 2.5yrs ago because the guy that owned it couldnt afford to pay for the work to be done, which included new brakes all round. But looking at them i think they need done. Going to give it a service including coolant and brake fluid change. Anything else i should look at doing due to the long lay up?? It has only done 48k.

Well finally went up to the garage were my zed has been for the last 2.5years ( i have only owned it for a short time ), Was a bit worried that i had bought this and it would need major work but it started up first turn of the key!!! Well impressed, first time its been started in the 2.5years its been sat. Now my questions, The stock oil pressure gauge - what should this sit at when up to temp? Also what should rpm should it be at idle? Sat on the 1k mark pretty smooth after a minute or 2. Obviously after sitting for so long there was a bit of a tick from the top end, Now should i just change the oil or should i put a flush through it also?? Cheers in advance.

Anyone know that the front spoiler is on the first one?? really liking that and a bit different.

First one would look better without the spacers on the front and dropped abit more. Second one could have been doing with about an inch less width on the wheels other than that its pretty much how i will have mine. Only mine will be a TT and a few other differences, but the basic concept of less is more is what i prefer. Not everyone will like them but i suppose it would be boring if we did.

Looking for some inspiration, Got a bit of a hankering to get rid of the dual exit scorpion exhaust on my zed and fit a single exit exhaust. Now does anyone have any pics for me to see how it will look with just 1 pipe out back?? only ever seen dual exit. Cheers in advance

Hi, Im planning on removing the abs from my 300 when i redo the brake lines. Now my question is what is the best way to route the lines from the master cylinder?? N/S/F to O/S/R and O/S/F to N/S/R?? sure iv read this before. Also i plan on informing the insurance so will all be legal ect. Cheers in advance

Depending when this is etc, i will be up for it. Should be picking my zed up in the next 2 weeks given my old work pay me what im due. Needs some bits and bobs but should all be done by may.

Question for those that either have or have had a company car, How much do you pay in tax for your company car? Been offered a job which comes with a car. Just weighing up wether its worth it or not? Cheers in advance

technically i dont own one yet, Well thats not true. I do own it iv just not seen it since i took ownership!!! Still sitting at my mates garage. just got so busy after buying it then thought no point in collecting it during winter, so just waiting till the better weather.
