  1. that track looks epic!! you doing the full course?
  2. Getting the tattoo is the easy part, its the living with it for the week or so after the is painfull. catching on everything, paying slapping it ( even though they know its there, its like a magnet ) etc.
  3. thanks, really looking forward to finishing the colour on this then getting the inside of my arm started.
  4. TBH for me this doesnt have much meaning, I just really like the samoan designs. For Samoans though they do have meaning and different tribs have slightly different designs so they can tell each other apart etc. Once it's done i could sit down and kind of translate it all. The beauty of this design is i can get it done a piece at a time, so no massive out lays.
  5. TBH the sitting yesterday should have been approx 400-450, But i paid 200. Mainly coz he is the only guy i will let tattoo me. This is my 5th now, but he is working on this one and then after this is completed he will start on my back. Eventually getting my full leg done also. Your best bet is to find something you are really happy with then look for a tattooist, show them what you want then get an idea of price. You may be surprised!! I have been researching this tattoo for over a year, and even now we are still changing it. The only part that is done is the part you can see in the pic, most of my inner arm is still to be done, then we will strat working it down. Gotta say though it stings a bit today and my arm is pretty swollen.
  6. Next sitting will more than likely be the same, probs still got another 12 hours to go before its finished. Luckly it can be done a bit at a time!!
  7. Yeah thats something thats getting sorted now i aint stuck behind a desk all day, far to tempting to just order in. Still an awfull lot of work to go till it's completely done, but we planned it so it can be done an area at a time. As is there is a gap on the underside of my arm which will be filled when i go back for the rest of the colour. Then start working it down over my elbow, eventually it will be reach down to the wrist.
  8. The last hour or so was a bit on the nippy side, not so bad now.
  9. Well after 6 hours today, i have the start of my new sleeve. Got alot of colour still to do to get what has been done so far completed, then its a case of building on it to come down my arm. Anyway heres a pic: Comments welcome
  10. I would love to go over for tornado season, the raw power is incredible.
  11. I'm going in next thursday for a full Samoan tribal sleeve, Nice wee 6 hour sitting to get it started. Quite like the tattoo you posted up. Mind post a pic or 2 of what you get.
  12. Cant wait to see this fire round knockhill, It's my local track so will defo be there. Might even bring the 300 with me.
  13. I have the same policy, car is meant to be in a garage between 10pm-6am for it to be covered when at home. Different when your are away from home though.
  14. That is pig ugly!!!
  15. Were did you get the valves from?
  16. So with the HX27 i presume a pair of custom mainfolds would still be required? Also any ideas on what power they could flow on a zed?
  17. So is there enough room to run a pair of these in a 300's engine bay? I take it a custom manifold s needed?
  18. Popped into work this morning to get the details of the turbo, it's a Holset HX35W.
  19. I was in at a customer today who competes in the bdc, now he is in the process of finishing of his 1jz engined RX8 and today he ordered a Holset turbo from us which believe it or not is off a truck!! Seems to reckon it's good for 600hp!?! While speaking to him he says these work at approx 2.5 bar on the trucks they are intended for, he is going to run 1.5 bar. Now this has got me thinking, since i can buy these from my work at cost is there any holset truck turbo's which would be suited to the zed as the one my customer bought today cost approx £450 +vat Brand new! Bit of a long shot but if someone knew that would be awesome. Will try get some details of the turbo tomorrow as i have them in stock at work. Cheers in advance
  20. Gotta love a set of OZ Pegasus wheels. Amazing how much these can fetch with the right specs!!
  21. Think this is one of them each to there own mods, some like there cafr to be quiet unless really giving it some and others well they like screamer pipes!! I can't wait for the zed to be mot'd then i can start sorting out the car before the winter rebuild. Which will include a set of screamer pipes!

  23. That will be the same guy i was talking to today? James at JN? funny thing is the evo was in agian today when i was there. Last time the diff was shot, so he fixed that and 80 miles later the gearbox was shot!! but 600bhp will do that.
  24. Just to make sure no one talks you out of it, have a listen to this 300zx: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jA2tAqLP5Cc That has defo made my mind up, and the best of it is i need to visit a customer tomorrow who is the very man to make this happen!!!
  25. I want screamer pipes so badly!!! That sounds insane!!
