  1. Hahaaa! Unlucky..! Would have thought that beast would have had some hydrolics like on the chevy impalas etc!!! Pretty sure in Obama's down time he likes to cruise around bouncing his limo up and down.
  2. It's taken a few months to fit, but finally a fluxx capacitor has been fitted that allows my zed to go back in time, and fly  . Oh wait a min :dots: .. no its just on some axle stands. Zed is undergoing some minor repairs. new front wings and door, new discs, and possibly refurb the wheels while they're off!
  3. Cheers for showing me around your machine Andy!! Good to see a mint car to work towards!! Dont suppose you have a spare set of front Discs kicking about toooo?? If so, may i add it to the shopping list... Steering wheel vibrates when braking at all speeds, and o/s front disc seems to rub when i spin it!
  4. This is true about having a perfect body- you would be constantly paranoid about some pillock nudging your car in a supermarket car park etc!! I must however admit the pictures are deceiving, as they hide the dents quite nicely!! And yeah i love the wheels, remind me of a ferrari F40 ....however they are also in need of a refurb! they've got what looks like limescale type stuff encrusted all over them which must have settled on them after years of neglect  ! But i've read up on the respray thread on here, so will give them a rub down and spray! Daffy mate - that sounds like a plan!! Nice one Andy - Just woken up from a lovely night shift-will give you a bell if your still working on your machine!
  5. Thanks for the warm welcome! looking forward to expanding my knowledge on the zed, just browsing through; there is about a years worth of reading to do - very helpful!!! haha nice spot Rich, its just north of Hampskhire! Quality to see you're just round the corner Andy! Yes mate, that would be ace if you have some wings kicking about! p.s. My knowledge of mechanics is not too good, so if you ever need someone to stand there holding parts/general labour i'd be up for helping as i could watch and learn!
  6. Hello! Having just moved to north Bracknell, i have finally scraped together some pennies to buy myself a zed! Reading through some threads i saw a few of you live Ascot way?? About my zed: 3.0 TT manual, Jap import. It runs beautifully, but is need of some body work/ cosmetic work to be done! It sailed through its MOT and service at zed world ( Phew  ), and as its an import, doesnt have any corrosion. What lets the beast down is that it has a fair few dents all over, so will need 2 new front wings, new n/s door, aaaaaaand a respray :pinch: ! Ry
  7. Aright All! Just moved to Berkshire - Bracknell, and new to the site! Anyone live nearby bracknell/Maidenhead area?? Ry
  8. I know it sounds stupidly simple, but what about wheel balancing/ differing wear on your tyres/ buckled wheel?
  9. I'm about to under-go a cheeky respray in Matte-Black. You really cant equal the anger/slick look it gives the zed!! http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://galleries.modifiedstreetcars.com/gold_coast_autosalon_2007/matte-black-300zx-538.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drifting-video-pictures/5745-pic-day-thread-282.html&usg=__i3iMT6oujZqosKs0OocKbL8qwFM=&h=768&w=1024&sz=131&hl=en&start=17&sig2=jB0262ECM99u0w8IVice5A&zoom=1&tbnid=YEEP2Ccg6oOjOM:&tbnh=128&tbnw=171&ei=8iCbTcTxMdKZhQfh0uHEBg&prev=/search%3Fq%3D300zx%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DX%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D709%26tbm%3Disch0%2C443&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=672&vpy=404&dur=268&hovh=180&hovw=240&tx=167&ty=70&oei=7CCbTbDNHNHrOaaQ-eoG&page=2&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:9,s:17&biw=1280&bih=709
