Big thanks to Jeff, Jamie and Lynda
Definitely - had a similar experience myself - Jeff and jamie were investigating the vibration through my steering wheel. Spent a good hour checking the clipers discs tension rods etc to discover its the hub, and wouldnt accept any cash for their time. :) excellent service

for the guys in the forces
Well if your main goal is to lose weight, then its all about the cardio. More exercise = more weight loss, so dont concern yourself with overtraining unless you are doing a marathon everyday! Weight loss is simple - Burn more calories than what you eat. Training in the gym with machines are good, but no where near as good as a decent 30min-1hr run/cycle/swim. Diet looks good :) lean fish, chicken and eggs are your superfoods

Dont suppose any of you have a pair of wheels that I could borrow for one week?? The reason being - im going up to maanchester next sat to do a day of drifting - im hoping by the end of it my tyres will still be legal to drive home. But if not then i would wack the wheels i borrow on for the trip home.

Kept up with a Ferrari 360 :)
As I travelled back from slough down the back roads, a ferrari 360 came out of a juntion just infront of me. As he put his foot down i was expecting to wave good bye, but im pleased to say the zed kept up nicely....up to 25mph. In all seriousness, as we then drove on to a private road, i was on his tail right up to a tonne. Very pleased :)

More Facking Problems!!!!!
Cheers for fast response! Ok that explains it then. The wheels seemed to sit on those spacers nicely? (I thought the size of bore you required depended on the size of the alloys) How about these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20mm-KEI-SPACERS-NISSAN-200SX-300ZX-GT-R-GTR-SKYLINE-/260767445645?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyre_Trims_Trims_ET&hash=item3cb6f3728d

More Facking Problems!!!!!
Just had a read through and glad to hear you managed to get it sorted hollowpoint! Just wondering what you did to remedy the matter?? It looks like i'm experiencing exactly the same issues! - unfortunatley my wheels dont fit straight onto the hub without spacers because they rub on the caliper, so I purchased a new set of spacers. Wheels balanced & fitted a new disc and thought happy days... after half an hour of driving i'm getting some serious vibration when braking and an intermittent vibration when driving! These are the spacers i got: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170695613711?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 If there's anyone in the thames valley area free over the next 4days- could really do with someone having a look too - tea/biscuits/beer/cake will be provided!! Going up for a drift day at Oulton Park in 9 days time and need the beast ready for this :-s

Inflating tyres
I bought those plastic attachments from halfords. They screw onto your valve and extend it out.

Zeds of for her paint job tomorrow..
Nothing like a positive approach  Surely if they do a poor job you can take it straight back anyway!! Looking forward to the pics. Have you been stripping it down for the last couple of years then??

caliper/pads
When i replaced the pads, i had to push all the pistons back so not sure how theyd be seized, but ill have another look at them! Would you use copper grease for the contact faces? I didnt replace the shims because they didnt look like they needed replacing - could they be the cause?

Insurance Quotes
Hahaa! Erm based on the fact that I'm 25, male, with 7yrs no claims and I thought 700 was good, id say you've got yourself a v.good price!!

caliper/pads
Anyone in the know?

caliper/pads
I've fitted a used pair of discs from a breaker on the front. I thinly they're 310mm but at work so can't measure for sure. Ive attached standard calipers with the bracket and put new pads on. The discs and pads sound like they are rubbing badly and it hasn't gone away after a 30min drive. The calipers were working fine 5months ago before I took the zed off the road so a bit miffed why they are rubbing? Could it be the caliper pistons?

Window Issues!! (wont go back up)
Ok brilliant, hopefully that does the trick - thank you for the close ups. Do you have any passenger side units available Jeff? Or does anyone else have one??
-
Window Issues!! (wont go back up)
Ok will give them both a solder. Does the passenger side need a window power module too??
-
Window Issues!! (wont go back up)
Ok i've had a look at the amp - and as the pictures show, it looks like a previous owner has soldered it before. Correct me if im wrong, but it looks like it's soldered ok, so im unsure what the problem is? With regards to the passenger door - does that need a window power amp too? The window still does not work unfortunately, but is it because it is missing something which connects to the blue connector shown in the pictures?

Window Issues!! (wont go back up)
Do you have to remove the door card to get to the window power amp, or is it the black box attached to the window switch?
