umm i gave £1400 for the car and spant about £600 on it such as cambelt and other repairs and about £2000 in fuel :lol:

oh right ill give it a go tomorrow then hopefully ill find the cylinder at fault! least ill have a starting point lol

I have as i bought a greddy chipped one few months back but i had the same fault with the standard ecu to not yet i was planning to tomorrow but i have just fitted 6 new connectors and cleaned all the injectors and fitted 3 x new seals in all 6 injectors. Even if i had a fault with an injector wouldnt removing the coil plug tell me which cylinder is at fault still?

no the exhaust are not connected to each other. And i have removed the coil pack one by one when its running and each cylinder has a noticable drop in revs which is why im confused!

Well i have got my zed running again. the trouble im have is that the left bank has a miss. (Can hear the exhaust spluttering) the drivers side is fine and idle seems ok. I had this fault before i removed the plenum as i thought it was the injectors. The connections where all s*** but i have now replaced all the connectors with new and have spent loads of time cleaning and replacing some of the injectors. there is also new seals in all the injectors. Also all my coil pack connectors are good. When i unplug the coils in turn there is a noticable drop in revs on all 6 cylinders which is why im confused as i cant work out which cylinder is at fault. Is there anyway i can work out which cylinder is a fault without a conzult? here is a video. i think i have all the pipes connected and in the right place. I was a bit fed up with it after being there all day so ill try again tuesday! Oh would you know if the det sensor wire that goes to the ecu is simular to an aerial wire. What i meanis it has the earth wire around the main wire? i dont have a det plug on mine at all

Well i took my zed off the road 2 months ago so that i could change the plenum, plenum by pass, injector plugs, coil plugs, rocker cover gaskets and few other jobs. Anyway i have just finished putting it back together and turned the key and as expected its not running right. It runs, just, but back fires. I have not reved it as i dont want to break it. Im guessing i have a coil plug on the wrong coil or something? i numbered all the injectors up so i think there right. Anyone know what i have more than likely done wrong? Oh i have not set the tps correct yet as i need to order a conzult cable and disk would this cause it not to idle and missfire? any help would be much appricated

u can replace the pipes with silicone hoses if you like but there is non there as standard

Im in the middle of re fitting my plenum now. I Took mine off to do the water bypass and also the threads on my old plenum where ducked. I have done Water by pass. Cleaned and replaced some of the injectors. New injector connectors. Replaced old coil pack connectors. Because my det sensor has been chopped about im by passing this to till i take the engine out. Cheak and clean all connector/plugs. I have spent most of today cleaning them. Oh the seals the injectors sit on. I used mjp for plenum gasket, injector plugs & seals

I have not long got in from work! And the red zed has the wheels i want for mine but budget is not the best at the mo

yeah will do i dont seem to have either plug on mine so i dont know whats happened to them! And the battery has been off for 2 months now so i hope its reset by now :lol: And in that pic the resistor i have looks about the same size so im hoping i bought the right one
