I think i have Over filled autobox after gbox change. I was told 7.5ltrs. Only drove it a mile and it wasn't shifting up properly at higher revs and was bouncing of limiter. Was also smoke coming from what I believe is the breather on the gbox on the back right of the engine near battery! Does this the shifting sound like it's because there is to much oil? Or could it be another issue with the box I'm worried as not had chance to drain it yet and it was a used box I purchased on merit! Would also appreciate confirmation on the correct fluid and amount needed

Can someone tell me the correct oil and amount in litres for a twin turbo autobox please ?

Hello guys. I'm looking for a bit of help. So im currently restoring a tt that's been off the road for 6 years. The battery light was on so we replaced the alternator for a known good one and fitted new belts. Battery's light was still on so I fitted a brand new battery. Light still on. I have checked all obvious earth's and wires that I can see but no joy. I also think it may have a drain as I fully charged a battery and left it over night and it was dead the following morning only other thing worth a mention is that the anti lock light is on. And also when I replaced the alt the thicker wore had a bit if green to it and was a tiny but frayed I'm hoping it's not this ad I really can't be arsed to remove it all again Amy help appreciated guys. I'm hoping for some common problems I may have not checked.

Any idea howmuch postage would be mate or how much for the box on its own and i will see if someone can collect for me!

]Having looked closer i think its going to need more time spending onit than i have got ! Its a 75k mile car with TT auto , chipped Ecu (by nos) dumpvalves , mot july tax is 4/5 months will check for sure ! Will prob take £800 for it ! Apart from damage its a really good zed no rust onit engine runs well !! Still not 100% yet though maybe im just pissed off !! All bot on/off parts for repair

Absulutly fuming ! Hit a unlit traffic ireland last night in the zed down some dark unlit factory road the bleeding thing was placed in the middle of a mile straight road ! Had just pulled out of a junction so luckily only doing about 20mph and me an the missus were unskaved !!! So had a look at the damage and im trying to work out if to repair or just sell it as it is !! Looks like im going to need a front bumper (no drama) The bit that does worry me is it looks like to engine crossmember has had it ! And the actuall chasis crossmember will need abit of jigging !! How difficult is the engine member to change ?? Can it be done with the engine in the car ?? From underneith ??

Ahh righto mate , it doesnt bother me the code is there but the fault is fixed ! Will give you a shout if i need any help ! :)

Hi can someone tell me how to clear an ecu of fault codes ! My caes running fine however fault code 13 is showing ( collant temp sens) so i am fitting a new one tommorrow! I am assuming i will need to clear the ecu ??? Has anyone else had problem with this temp sensor ?? My car seems full of power only thing i noticed it it smells very fuely and is very thirsty !!

Its a dvd player aswell though so it will keep the kids quiet on journeys ;)

Well its all wired into the cars loom yes , i can only assume it did work at some point ! Still doesnt explain why theres no juice to either ign live ??

Hey guys, so i bought a zed in the the end of noz , great car really happy with it ! Car does have a few elec problems though !! 1 , cd/dvd player is not working and there is no power going to the red or black ?? I have checked the fuses under bonnet and in drivers footwell and they all seem ok ?? 2. The heater blower is working and gives out heat but does not blow through the vents into the cockpit , it does blow onto windscreen ?? Is this electrical ?? 3. Driver door will not lock on key or fob, key just turns it but it does not do anything ?? Any one any idea what is could be thats going on ?? I have noticed there is 2 heavy duty airiel looking wires loose in pass footwell by the ecu and also ecu is not secured the floor !!

when there available, there's loads when ya skint , feck all when money is burning a whole :) - - - Updated - - - im prob one of the only few on here that doesn't do kits :)

Not to sound funny here, but i dont really like bodykits on a zed :( i will just find a rock and hide in it now :)
