  1. Noz mapped mine and now mpg is better cause most z's overfuel, mine is perfect now!
  2. well from what i can see, every camber arm for sale on ebay says r32/300zx etc. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR10.TRC0&_nkw=300zx+camber+arms&_sacat=0&_from=R40 thats why i wanted to check!
  3. From what i have been reading up it does fit !!
  4. Hey Guys, Would the R32 Top Front Camber Arms fit the 300zx? They seem to look the same?
  5. Reason is because he does some amazing maps with nistech, noel's just too good mate (complete custom maps designed by him). Most people still use the old school chips (JWT) etc and they are a bit out of date now and dont really use any of the tech we have avilable now. Its just pure mapping skills! he is really good with playing around with the parameters and especially fueling is key i think. you should make a LOT MORE, take it to him its well worth the £250, i think he does it too cheap lol Just waste of all that nice parts you have in the car running premade chips!
  6. Yup, but he still mapped it to 16.8 for the top end but said i needed better injectors to have the fueling right and to be safer, so set it too 14.8 (1Bar) Next on the list is to get some upgraded SMIC and Injectors
  7. HKS filter and HKS back boxes with all the cats etc, aftermarket lightweight pulley and a boost controller :) And i think everyone needs to go have a tune with Turbonoz. You would push a lot more mate!
  8. Not really sure where to begin as it was a extremely long day! Anyways here it goes. (Warning it will be a bit long) Got a train from London to Zed world around 5 A.M and got there for around 8.30 am to collect the car, had couple of things fixed crank seal, under seal, consult and general assessment so drove away with a clean bill of health. Drove around 50 miles to get started with the remap and tune by Noel (turboNoz) Managed to get there for around 9:40am. First impressions Noel was a top guy, easy going and easy to work with. I have to mention that he did a BIG favour (under statement) me by doing a one day tune up as he normally keeps the car for a few days. Few minutes later he got started with his MAGIC, the first task was to get a SBC boost controller installed which took longer than expected (typical 300zx, things never work normally). This took a bit longer than expect due to some issues with the car but finally got done. Have to mention Noel was very patient with me being around and even though we had "very awkward" moments were I was just watching him work, I wouldn’t want someone watching me lol :P. Anyhow, after that was done Noel started on tuning, I have point out how meticulous he is about his work and tuning. He works with amazing passion, a massive wealth of knowledge and experience on the topic. By now we were pushing around 6.30pm. He hasn’t even had proper lunch or a break! Now he pulled out all the state of the art gizmos and tech to get started and hooked it all up with the car and the dyno. Ready to do a custom tailored map to my car. I expected good things from the tune, but once things started off it was beyond every expectation I had. Previously had a compression done at zed world and Jeff did say it was 175 psi etc. However when I got to Noel in the morning he did mention straight away that that zx’s got a misfire of some sort. Now even though this is not part of the job he tackled this issue and found out that it was a lose connection with the ptu causing this issue (he even checked and swapped the plugs and coil packs first to be sure). After this once the car was running on all 6 cylinders the car was idling around 1500rpm o.O. Noel went out of his way again and did a consult which bought up that the AIC valve wasn’t working! so he tested a few things which confirmed that it was the valve, as upon disconnection it returned to normal idling in some sense but still a bit erratic. Now finally the dyno could be started, started off with around 12 psi then 14 and then 16.8. On stock dyno results came back at 301.1 bhp at the engine (266.8 wheels) and about 283 torque, not particularly impressive. Next step he cranked it up to 12 and did a test and he instantly remarked that the engine was in good nick due to the reaction of the engine to load. Results came back at 348.6 bhp and 365 torque! I was impressed! I think so was he with his work: P Every run he goes through and plays around with all sort of settings including fuelling, air and etc. I couldn’t keep up with the technical side of things lol. Very very meticulous!!! geeky in a way lol Right at 18psi the results came back at 435.x hp and 447.x torque. that was some amazing results; I think he is probably one of the best mapers around in my opinion. However he mentioned that it would be better to run 16 if I was on better injectors for the fuel. As he was monitoring all different parameters with every run. Finally psi was set to 14.8 which I think is exactly a bar and results where 415.4 hp (368.6 at wheels) and 438.4 of torque. The dyno displayed a very smooth graph indeed (haven’t got the graph with me, he also mentioned that I might have bigger or aftermarket turbo's, need to get it checked). I was extremely impressed with Noel’s (turboNoz) skills and knowledge of the systems and mapping. Now upon checking the time it was 10.45 pm!!!! :pinch:. Come on who else does that even with out a break?? We have some great fellow members on this forums and I want to say that NOEL was an exceptional fellow, really stuck through with the job and finished it no matter what. Upon driving back I just couldn’t stop smiling alllll the damn way; the power delivery was smooth and insane!!! (on a side note i did nod of a few times while driving as i didnt eat or drink anything since i got there lol, but would have died knowning my zx was setup well :) ) Just didn’t feel anything like the car I used to own, one word for it, AMAZING JOB. Massive credit and thanks to Noel. Hats off for ya mate!:thumbup1: no one does 10:00 am -10.45 pm so credit were deserved mate! P.S (ignore any grammar or spelling errors, doing it on my phone)
  9. I have ordered these, hope they are alright http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Arches-JUN-Look-JDM-Arch-Extensions-200SX-BMW-S13-Drift-/281087818340?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item417223ba64
  10. pure sexynesss ok i want these arches where can i get them from? seems thats what the z's missing a bit more wider of a back. btw how hard is it to fit these on? and is it better to actually smooth them in?
  11. much cheaper than wide ass :P
  12. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Arches-JUN-Look-JDM-Arch-Extensions-200SX-BMW-S13-Drift-/281087818340?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item417223ba64 Baz is your similar to these?
  13. haha, i thought they made the car look a lot more fuller!
  14. they look a lot thicker than baz's arches
  15. Hey Guys, Anyone know what sort of arch flare this is? also any idea about the lip on the front bumper? Looks pretty nice!
  16. whats the difference in cats and resonators? cause you can have resonators on the test pipes!
  17. I see, would companies like japspeed do test or down pipes with cats or silencers?? i am sure the newer pipes would still increase performance as i have the stock system from middle to front. cause i do really like my current cat back system as its fairly new too
  18. Wouldn't that kill the performance? Would something like this work? http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=3425&Car_Type=300&UID=2013040516374493.97.112.59
  19. wouldn't really help on longer journeys as you could still hear a decat. mainly dont want everyone to know every time i touch my gas pedal!!
  20. I was curious is it possible to get decat performance without the loud amounts of noise? I have cat exhaust but the rear piece is custom and i find it rather loud already!! Can you maybe get exhausts that are quieter at lower revs and sound louder when reved harder? I was reading up and heard it can be achieved with certain resonator or something... If anyone with better expertise could shed some light on this matter, it would be great. Do japspeed do exhausts with cats in them for the 300zx?
  21. always wondered what if it rains? where would the water go? would it not leak into the engine bay?
  22. Awesome guys thats usefull, about about hicas removal or lockout? or removing the pipes etc for it completely and changing to a na subframe?
  23. Would like a bit of explanation of what each of these are or at least the full form? bit of a newbie :P
  24. Hey Guys, Didn't find anything by searching maybe i was not searching right anyways. Wanted to ask what are the common things that you can get rid of to make the engine bay a lot more cleaner and the car a less pain in the rear end to work on. I am talking about any systems or pipes etc that can be removed and that it doesn't effect the car severely or in its safety features! Cheers!
  25. Welcome.. I am from east London too and there are atleast four people right next too me. One person is quite good with z work too. If you ever wanna meet let us know :)
