  1. Nice one, good luck in your new position :)
  2. And there was me thinking you were a nice guy, with slight cross dressing tendancies as your only negative point :p
  3. I would say that's a likely bet, can you move them away without major hassle ?
  4. TPS is a good stop, I've used it for years, still get the odd call though. A quick mention to be removed from DB as I'm on the TPS usually works. Thats when I CBA to answer, as I have caller display, if i'm not expecting a call from an unknown number I don't answer if I don't recognize it, same goes for the mobile also on TPS :)
  5. Superb, and sounded great even on my little creative 2.1 pc speakers :)
  6. Thanks guys, looks like I will have to give them a ring, see what they can do at what price. Oh and Simon:
  7. Some nice socialy minded person decided my car door needed a few deep scratches  Not the Zed, the family econobox, its nothing flash just a little Punto we bought new, we have had it 2 and a half years and looked after it, no dings or wheel kerbing etc etc, now some fecker (prolly bored kids) decided it needed some pain. :( Its not worth an insurance claim as our excess probably wouldn't even be breached ! So being as money doesn't grow on trees I thought it may be something the likes of "chips away" should be able to sort, anyone have experience of them good or bad ?
  8. I second a dealer related person posting the above ;) But honestly, a bodge it repair to hide rust is the domain of "arfur dailey" esq. A Ford main dealer should have properly cut out and replaced the arches with new arch panels. The heater issue should have been identified and fixed by any competent technician trained by ford. And a differential that badly shagged should have been replaced by a main dealer too. You might expect it from a 2 bit back street garage, not from a furd dealer with associated inflated pricing. I think the domain name and webpage are a good idea, how can they take any legal action if all on it is truth ? Failing that, the option of the vinyls that Hollowpoint mentioned is a good answer too. I wish you the best in getting some form of "closure" on this Roobarb, dealers like this need to be named and shamed !
  9. LoL @ "Multiquote" .... you expect they would give you a discount for insuring 2 cars, all they did is add the 2 premiums together ! Perhaps they swapped them round thinking you would think you got a good deal, I am sure some companies just make up prices on the spot  Seriously though, I never found mainstream sites good for insuring the Zed while I was trying for quotes. Although my quote from Lynbrook wasn't as good as some on here (despite my circumstances being as near good as you can get) it was the best I found. I might have to try Footman James come renewal though, thanks Chaps
  10. Many happy returns of the day Alan :) Have a few :pint: tonight :)
  11. I wouldn't know the legal standings, but I don't think there is a lot you can do if its on their side TBH. You have gained the wall width (if the fence is on their side as it has to be), and it looks like you have a full garage width all the way up ? If its any help: Ours has a neighbours house wall running into a 6ft brick wall one one side, and our house on the other, which actually would block one side of the garage partially if it went all the way back. Luckily it doesn't, and I have room to open the driver door fully on the drive if I back up to the right spot + or - 2 inches (due to a patio wall) ! At the narrowest point its about 7.5 ft so if you have that or better you should be OK to get the car up and I have 10ft between the corner of the house and the garage, were the space widens to 9 ft 4" at which point I can open the drivers door fully. Of course working on the passenger side is not possible !
  12. Is that a common thing ? When I wired mine in it wouldn't read anything below 15mph either. I could live with that, until it decided not to work at all today
  13. Awww , not again Mr Ish, you are having bad luck with employment :( I can't help with the desicion weather or not too go self employed (you would know the market better than most having been in that trade, and would know some contacts). But ultimately sell the car you can get most cash for, and run around in the cheapest one. There is no shame whatever car you drive as long as it isn't chavved up !
  14. If you have had, or currently have, one fitted please can you select an option and also post what make or supplier you got it from. Any details on failures also appreciated :)
  15. A personal opinion, but I don't feel any alarm is worth it. Get a decent immobilizer fitted and the removable steering wheel is a good idea :) Thats as much as you can do TBH. If someone wants it bad enough they will get it whatever, unfortunatley :(
  16. Petrol will do that ;)
  17. I believe stick on plates are illegal. The actual plate size is not an issue as far as I can make out, (can't find any sites listing a requirement for plate dimensions) just letter size/spacing. I imagine so does the front for the same reasons, seen one of those police programs were ANPR picked up a car headed in the opposite direction. Not sure how ANPR works, but doubt it needs the reflection capabilities ? that is just a standard requirement.
  18. Oooh I do love NSX's, looking and sounding sweet :)
  19. Mmmmm beeer .... but listening to a nice V6 howl is priceless (well ..err... you know what I mean :p)
  20. "4. The design of top coverlid is to protect the engine while you miss touch the button 5. You can open and close the coverlid whih make fun of it when driving" Good job its an inanimate object, otherwise you would be in trouble for sexual harassment and bullying
  21. That's "bang on" ! :) Carpeted parking area too, oooo luxury ;)
  22. Depending on car, some have a few bodykit options but not all. You can however change wheels , upgrade engine, suspension etc, and of course use the paint to do whatever you are capable of or can buy. I do have a nice tune for the Zed on my storefront ;)
  23. The ultimate is all the original plus all the downloadable stuff (tracks and cars) since release, a bargain :) I believe it has a code for "stigs garage" too, so even more content.
  24. Ha, I can't get a likeness to mine as A: no spoiler removal available, and B: no wheels that look that similar, and C: the one in game is a targa :p Forza 3 isn't as good as 2 in a few ways TBH, hopefully 4 will sort that out :)
