  1. Hi to all, just wondering...i'm lookin got replace the knackard discs and pads on my uk tt..I was thinkin of those black diamond kits as i like the thought of the color , but also the fact that the insides of the disc do not show the rust that will appear after a short time on normal discs....I'm open to suggestions!! thanks Mark
  2. sorry, wrong thread!! lol
  3. good lookin car there bud...
  4. try this..http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm
  5. It can be quite common, after all you are dealin with a car that could be potenially 15 years old and so corrosion is a real problem. The sills are a bad point as are the rear arches. I bought a Uk twin turbo with lot of rust around these very parts, but was more blind to the fact and was more besotted with the car. Its amazin what wax oil can do and generally can hide a multitude of sins under the car
  6. genrally a manaul turbo, will put the biggest smile on your face!!I think imports as a general rule will be more 'rust free', but this is not always the case. There are plenty of bad ones out there , but i'm sure an equal amount of goodin's as well. There are a few FAQ's on the site, so just sign up and go lookin...
  7. hopefully , there are some of you good folk, who are techncially up for this question...not your usual easy pessy stuff, like moddin lol
  8. Thanks Mark....hopefully someone will come around tonight and be able to help...Any helpers out there?
  9. Forgot to add...and only drive like Michael Schumacher the very very odd time!!!
  10. Hi Mark, thanks for the answer, but as before, can I just dis-connect the cooling part of the diff?
  11. Hi to all. Alittle techical question. I am in the middle of replacing my rear sub frame in my 90 spec uk tt. My question being, can you get rid of the diff cooler , that inturn feeds a small radiator to the side of the rear sub frame and from that , cooling pipes that lead out to the rear of the car behind the rear bumper...I'm not exactly michael schumacher on the roads and would generally not drive the car as such, but for the odd blast here and there...Am I right in believing that the jap spec versions of my car do not carry the cooler at all? Then why do the uk one's have one ?
  12. seen your links legrath, that is one good looking car you've got there!! tryin to do the same with the interior as well.....nasty tweed ...hello leather ( or some material like )
  13. Guys, were can i get that duel air filter pipe? looks yummy!!

  18. My sills and rear arches were no more, it's like i was collectin jap rust even though its a uk car. I'm just after getting a rear sub frame shipped over from ryan at z tech, to replace the one that is on it!!!!!! Gives ulot an idea of how bad it was....
