hey i got a Firstline lcd monitor/tv. and it only turns on wen it wants to, wen its on it works perfik, but sometimes mostly after its bin on a while, it wont come bak on again. the light from red to blu comes on, but no pwer to screen? any suggestions?

well i want to do it here properly, but i dont want to get told off haha, i mean theres alot of refurb service around, some good some bad, but our methods are different and a close hidden secret. more so i would like to give back to the 300zx community by offering a discount for members, i mean im just starting the business.i was chosen from half way across the country by a investor who can see wasted talent, i learnt my paint skills from my father who used to do proffesional paint for AC cobras and alike cars, real perfection stuff, so when i was 15 he gave me a mini, and old mini and we rebuilt it from the ground up, then we gave it a candy apple red spray job. real nice and since then ive done everything i can to hone my skills, collage, weekend work, scrap cars for fun, ive worked at a number of bodyshops, ive worked on contract for porsche, ferrari, bit of maserati.amongst normal cars. ive done alot of work for the wheel restorer. learnt alot about wheels there, and ive taken the common refurb methods,and put some of my own ideas and theries into them, thru the help of investment ive manged to have the liberty of trail and error,now im at a place wer it works to perfection. had a long relationship with a guy that makes paint, some real nice stuff and my investors used his contacts to perfect this guys paint.its the nicest paint ive worked with for wheels, durable, heat resistant up to 400 degress, amazing shine, the list goes on. i really would like to advertise properly,i mean we can paint or powder anything metal! ive got a 6ft oven lol. id like to take wheels to gatherings and show, just so people can see for themselves, i know a couple of you guys have offered demo wheels, that excellant. i know that wheel refurbishment can be expensive, and i spose it is. but if you had a set of volks, or AC shnitzers or wheels alike, that are worth 1000 + i mean ive seen a set of ferrari f40 wheels worth £13k !! he paid £700 where i used to work to have them good as new. better even. this is why i want to offer super competitive prices, the best, friendliest service around. and quality that puts the much larger companies to shame lol. for me its not about money. i love what i do, i like to make people happy.for the time wheels are in my care, they shall be treated as my own. this is why i would like to offer a discount to my fellow Z lovers. the best community by far. helpful poeple. oh dear i rambled again.lol. as before more than happy to answer questions. im dont mean to break rules if i did, not my intention.

yea of mate, we do it alll !!! weve got an in house alloy welder. miserable old fella but he can weld with his eyse shut but i had to tell him off for that lmao. oj, yea i can sort that for you mate, and dings, bumps, kerbing. cracks. in the odd occasion obv some wheels cannot be repaired.but youd kno before you sent it, im always gona be in contact with customers, service is everything. oh yea, dont worry about your tyres either, if you cant take them off. ive got all the equiptment in house. take the tyres off, do the wheels, check the bead wels ensure perfect seal. fit tyres, replace valves, rebalance. delivered to your door. i can also offer collection by me in person lol. if its on my way or around the area.otherwise well send a courior, or you arrange one, watever floats your boat. thanks for the questions, happy to answer :)

thanks guys, yea better busy than bored i say. its sounds like your not in a major rush for them, the split rims will take me a day if they truelly are in that bad condition.and tudor... urs prob only half a day. the finish will be perfect, and if you hit them with a hammer, they will look no worse for it, youll have to let me know wat your thinking? wat colour and finish you want guys. if you can dream it, i can paint it lol cheers :)

hey mate, wer on the wilford estate not dar from silverdale, im just getting it goin, gonna start advertising once the acid bath get here lol. not gonna need a panel beater for a while, starting off doing the wheels first cuz although there are many wheel refurb places in the country, a few of them are good, none of them use the same technique i do thus not nearly as hard wearing, our method is tested with hammers! lol. and then once wer making profit we will open the booth up, thus im goin to need a good team. i live on the border of wales at the moment, so driving to nott to do a set of wheels, hopefully ill have a few to do from the get go , that way ill just stay there in the week lol. if your out of work in 6 months or so, ill pm you before i advertise elsewhere if you like, i know wat its like to be stranded lol

hey guys, ive just got investment to start my wheel refurbishing and bodyshop business up in nottingham, im gona start by buying a load of wheels of ebay, scratch and curbed, repair them , true them . and then refurbish them, or offer custom paint/finish prior to delivery.and then re sell them, just until i can get marketing going.thinking of offering discount to car club members ;) but i need to know.... the 5 stud wheel that fit the 300zx, will the also fit cars of the like, skylines, scoobies,200sx etc. i know i should know this really, but the last wheel refurb place i worked at, it was all porsche and ferrari lol any info would be a great help. thanks

hmmm i wonder, i dunno if honda ever made a v8, but could you imagine a v8 with vtec, or maybe a custom made , block with two vtec head on. now that would be some hellish engineering dont ya think?

i did have a tt and they are stupid fast, id love a tt swap. put the funds are nil. cant even get a mot lol. got a new tyre, just need some proper seats cos the ones init are from a s14 and they wer bodged in. and the rear does lock back cos its not the rite seat. prob need some new pads and bulbs then ill try again lol

it was a 2000 uk turbo. well he looked at me before we left the round about, reving it loads, took off sharpish, it sounded like he was trying lol

hey guys, i had to puyt my z into storage today after i abondoned the mot last week, shoddy seat frames and tyre.blubs prop some more, but it was ia 5 mile drive, my first in this na z, the sound of the thing is amazing! i had a impreza try it on, thrashed him, touched the limiter just as i flew past him. awsome lol, its so crisp and reponsive,revs fast. shame i cant drive it on road, really put a smile on my face, even after an 8 day bed ridden depression. seriosly that the best therepy money can buy!! just though id share my buzz lol

i got quoted 8k from footman james, i cant get a quote lower that 2-4k that why im not drivin write now, 21, 4 yrs driving, garaged over nite. no accidents or points.
