  1. We've just had a small dusting on the IoW. Nothing much though and has only laid on the grass and trees, not on the roads....
  2. Yep. I lost it on the way home yesterday. No snow but hit an icy patch right after a sharp bend at about 30 mph. Faced the wrong way for a second then over corrected and fish tailed for a few metres then ok but wow, no warning at all...thankfully no one behind me nor coming the other way. Bit of a heart racer for a few minutes though!!
  3. Veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy nice
  4. AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH:hammer::sweatdrop::lol::lol::lol:
  5. Yep, gonna do this when my Ebay supply runs out. Have seen the vid on what to do......just wish I'd seen it prior to last weekend :laugh:
  6. Ok so my nearside low beam bulb dies. I take out the bulb and clearly stamped on the bulb is H3C. Great, off I go to Halfords to get my replacement bulb. But, oh dear, there is no such labelled bulb on the rack of oh so many bulbs. A Halfords chappie comes along and asks if he can help. I tell him I'm after an H3C bulb but cannot see one on the rack. He shrugs and passes me to a spotty herbert who asks again what I am looking for. Patiently I explain I'm after an H3C bulb but cannot see one on the rack. "Did you bring in the bulb?" he asks. "No" I say...."it's an H3C" "Yes, but did you bring it with you?" "No, I shouldn't need to...it's an H3C. The bulb has it stamped on the body and the manual states that that is the correct bulb for my model and year of motor. If you don't stock them, do you stock an alternative?" "I need to see the bulb" he persists. "But why? It's an H3C" By now I'm fast losing the will! I'm thinking why can't you look it up on you terminal? However I decide to leave stating that I will source one elsewhere. With renewed vigour I go to my local Nissan garage. "Hi, I'm after an H3C bulb please" I open. "Did you bring the old one with you?"Asks the attendant. "ARGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" in my mind. "No I didn't think I needed too. It's H3C" "Well it's either this one or that one" he states offering me the two bulbs to view. "It's neither" I sigh, "They are both too big and have the wrong number of connecting tabs on them" "Oh well, we don't have any then".......goes to computer and googles. "Is it like this" I'm asked. I crane over the counter and respond positively "yes that's the one....it says H3C" "I'll go out the back and look" helpfully offered......comes back "No don't have any of those, but can order you one" "No thanks, I'll get one elsewhere and I leave. Straight home and straight onto Ebay. I find some in seconds and a blink later I've ordered two pairs and paid for them £12 all in. Two days later I frantically open a packet to reveal two bulbs.....I ordered two pairs. I email the seller, get an apology and a confirmation of the error and a promise to send out the two bulbs, immediately. Tonight I get home, open the packet and lo and behold....oh....one bulb....still a bulb short......AAAAARRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHow hard can it be????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Then to put the icing on the cake having ordered a replacement complete O/S mirror for our P38 Rangie I unpack the box that arrived to day to find.............yes you've guessed it....a N/S one.......AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH:surrender::angry::asshole:
  7. Excellent information here guys thanks very much
  8. The exterior roof trims on my ZX could do with taking off the black Vinyl like material and showing the chrome or taking off and replacing. Its thetwo off roof trims (the small lengths to the rear of the roof) plus the two targa panel trims and the windscreen pillar trims. They are the only bit of my motor that externally doesn't do it any favours. How are they removed? Are they held by clips or screws etc? Ta in advance
  9. I guess it's one of those motors you either love or hate.......Ii quite like it........lol!!!
  10. Mine is a manual.......
  11. I see there are chips available on Ebay for normally aspirated 300ZXs. Does anyone have one and are they any good?

  14. Beautiful motor mate! Love the front end and rear quarter panel treatment!!
  15. Mine is a Pearl White and I reckon I'm just down the road from you! Are you more Binstead than Ryde? Near Mayfield? Seen a Z there in a colour I didn't recognise :huh:
  16. Not many Z's over here are there? Have seen a couple of black ones (I think one has hoofed it off to the channel islands now though), a yellow one and another white one (TT) that is or was for sale on Ebay. Many thanks too for the warm welcome folks :thumbup:
  17. Hi everyone, new here! Just purchased a 1990 300ZX, normally aspirated, manual, in pearlescent white. She's an import and has had quite a lot of cosmetic work recently done (new front spoiler, rear valance, resprayed, undersealed, refurbished gun metal grey allloys, new leather front seats, new black and white interior, new carpets, steering wheel, gearknob etc etc). This is my first ZX though I've thought about getting one for ages. Not new to Japanese motors though, having owned 4 x Preludes (I love 'em!) Had one third gen, and three fourth gens (two 2.0 and one 2.2 VTEC that was heavily modified). Pictures will be posted when I get some taken....... Looking forward t enjoying my times on here :)
