  1. Found by Mr. Lee Dent, that if I had driven a few more miles I would have been looking for a new engine, see timing belt thread I started for pics.
  2. Thanks buddy, it was my pleasure to help, and for getting Lee to do all the hard work.....PMSL. Thanks again for the compliments.
  3. No problem Gary, just shows what can happen, we reckon a few more miles and I would have been looking for a new engine. Always worth getting the timing belt checked if the history is unknown. My Zed was making no strange noises at all. So all new Zed owners take note, if you don't have a date of last timing belt change, it's worth having it done for peace of mind alone.
  4. As you can see the belt is wearing very thin, and is a lot narrower than it should be, see pic of standard width belt and mine!!! We only just caught this in time, so please heed the advice of our Zed experts and keep an eye on your timing belts, as this could have ended up a lot worse for me.
  5. Guys and girls, I know it has been said many many times before, but please check your timing belts if you don't know it's history!!! After another great day at Mr. Lee Dent's place today, where he is busy working on my Zed, when we took the timing belt covers off, this is what we found: - More next post.
  6. Sorry I have had to close this thread as you have to be subscribed to sell.
  7. Hey buddy, gutted you are selling your Zed, but hope to meet up with you at certain events this year.
  8. A pic of my rear lights, converted by Phutumsch.
  9. Welcome to the forum buddy.....Pics up when you can.
  10. If your rear lights are in very good condition, the cheapest way to get 99 spec rear lights is to have a word with our very own Phutumsch, he will convert a set for you to 99 spec on an exchange basis, and doesn't charge the earth.
  11. Welcome to the forum buddy. Get some pics of your new car up when you can. A nice rare Impul body kit that I will have for sale soon is very nice but subtle.
