I know what your saying, and I agree with you, just the unfortunate thing about this case is that the buyer or anyone else cannot make the seller sell the item, but on the other hand the seller can make the buyer pay for an item, it is only a legally binding contract one way, the buyer has to pay, but the seller doesn't have to sell if they "change their mind and decide not to sell" for whatever reason, in this case the reason is that they didn't receive enough for the item, if you know what I mean. As I say, the law is an ass.:thumbdown:

Go for the refund bud, I have had this done to me so many times on the bay, it is not fair, I have sold things that I thought would fetch more money than I got, but I always send an item even if I thought I would get more for it. Legally, the law states that if you place a bid on an item you as the buyer enter a legally binding contract, therefore you must purchase that item if you win it, but the seller is under no legal obligation to sell the item, the law cannot force somebody to sell something they don't want to sell, (even though as in this case he only doesn't want to sell it because it didn't fetch the money he wanted) but the law can make a bidder pay for something if they win the auction. I got this nugget of advise from Ebay themselves when the same thing happened to me, try it, they will tell you the same thing. Sh1t I know, but after all the law is an ass.:headvswal
