Don't you dare sell that car mate!!!.....lol If you have got the dosh and can afford it, get the whole lot that you want done, if you get it all done now, you wont be tempted to dip into the money for other things. That's a beaut of a car you have Daffy, I think you would regret selling it. Once everything is done, it will feel such a different car that you will think you sold it and got something even better, but would still own a 300ZX Slicky, a rare beast to find in the condition yours is in......:tt1: Just my thoughts to you mate, you and only you can really decide what to do, but I do think you would regret selling it buddy........:crying:

Merseyside Classic Wheels
Hi Guy's and Gal's. Many years ago, before I had even thought about a Zed (well I had thought, but couldn't afford one...lol) I was involved with a club called Merseyside Classic Wheels. I have kept in touch and I rejoined all my old buddies when I purchased my Zed. The guy's and Gal's have suggested that any Zed owner or member of 300zx.co.uk are welcome to come along to our meetings, which are held every first Monday of the month, unless it is a Bank Holiday, in which case it is the second Monday. Our meeting place is The Stanley Arms on Gillars Lane (B5203) in Ecclestone near St Helens WA10 5PT. Very close to Knowsley Safari Park, and with some nice roads it's a nice run out, so thought I would invite anyone interested, you can either PM me or reply straight to this thread. Anyone welcome. Cheers Ian

If you guys fancy the first Monday of the month any time, have a look here: - http://www.merseysideclassicwheels.org.uk/ Welcome any time guys. Thanks again to you all.

cherished reg, and imports?
Thought it would be, I have a timeless plate on mine, but it can be mistaken as a Y reg 2000/2001......lol.....:devil2:
-
cherished reg, and imports?
You can make a car look older than when it was first registered either in this country or another, but you can not make it look younger. So for you you can put on a pre 1990, or a timeless plate. But it is from when first registered and not from when it was registered in the country. So no, you cannot put a 2001 plate on it. They wouldn't bother putting an age related plate on them when they first arrive in this country if they can have a later reg on. I can only assume that the one Jeff had in on a 2001/2002 plate it was becasue for one reason or another the car was not registered for the road until 01/02.
