  1. before i replaced the rear lights, the right indicator would blink rapidly as if a bulb was burnt, upon inspection the right rear bumper side light was off. left side ok. so on the weekend i replaced just the brake lights and installed the third brake light and its now rapidly blinking for left and right, ive checked all the lights and they light up. low beam, high beam, fogs, rear brake lights and all four indicators including the rear side bumper lights. cant figure out why its still blinking fast. any ideas?
  2. lol hell naah!! and what a shame for that zx... could be a good project for someone on here to to a manual tt conversion!
  3. welcome to the z ring!! think you have to be a subscribed member to upload pics. either way get some pictures up!!! :thumbup1:
  4. yup removed the tumour and i cant figure out why they would just make one flipping clip hole. think ill drill holes in that case,
  5. didnt have any except the one! and i have a tendency to over tighten ever thing!! wifey hates it she can never get the bottles open lol! that said i did take precaution to not over tight it. so does that mean my boot lid had been replaced at some point or was it just how its made with one freaking clip hole! and i dont think that drilling a hole will make it fit in place, its in place dont get me wrong and just by looking at it its looks perfect but if i push my finger into the strip it bends inwards and first i tried pushing the one clip in place but it looked as is it would have cracked. maybe some foam tape would give it some support?

Happy With purchase greatly improved handling from previous set. I wanted to lower my car as much as possible and I'm happy with the stance that it is currently at and it can go lower! a. Performance on Road: Dampers adjusted to hardest setting. Does what it should do. Feels like a go kart on the road. Good grip and improved handling. Really sticks to the road! b. Performance on Track: Not had the chance to take it to the track but I am sure I will not be disappointed. c. Value for Money: My first set and although I think they are a bit on the high side, great value for money d. Would you buy again: Maybe e. Any Personal Note: Great customer service answered all my questions in a timely matter. I requested a set that would give me a big drop and got just that. Thanks! :) 7. Pictures:
  7. as per title ive fitted the third brake light finally. and i was wondering is there a fitting difference, i know that the third brake light will fit all variations of the z32 but when was fitting it it only had one hole for the plastic clip!? which left me thinking wtf!! the strip has four clips and 4 screws to bolt down. i started thinking about drilling holes etc but ecventually after almost loosing hope and not fitting it i removed all 4 clips and bolted it place its in place and looks miles better but its not as sturdy bewteen the the end screw and middle screw where the brake light is. and there is defo a gap between the boot lid and the perspex strip. if i pushed the clip in it would have warpped inwards which is why i took it out. is that how it is or is there some manufacture error on the car itself where there is only one hole in the boot? or what? its annoying me because its not a perfect fit!!:blink:
  8. fitted the third brake light today, on sat i swapped the rear clear brake lights with some smoked 99 spec rep rear lights and swapped the oem hood with the carbon fibre hood i bought months ago and had her washed. good weekend!! :D
  9. as title says had about an hour window with no rain to get these fitted. even though the clear rear brake lights stood out and looked good, i personally always wanted a pair and i really like them! before and after
  10. can or does anyone else be able to do this and or for the brake lights? wouldnt mind having the brakes light done the same way although ive already got leds in the brake lights now
  11. figured id start a new thread, as ive mentioned about my surprise find a fews days ago ive taken out the centre rear light panel and took apart one section to show what it was, i thought it would've been a simple led insert but it wasnt. from the pictures you'll be able to tell what was done and where, not much to it but the top lense had to be pushed in and glued in place and the edge has been cut away for the led board to fit. the backing cover also had been cut to allow room for the wires
  12. dont think its that much of a deal, never had problems unless the mot person figured it out lol i believe phutumuch (think thats how its spelt) can do it. in process of switching lights and ill take it apart and put some pictures up for you guys.
  13. may the forces of luck be with you!!
  14. So the other day as I was parking up I saw the reverse leds reflect off the chrome strip on my elgrand as I was switching my lights off to see a better reflection I some how pressed the unkown switch that was drilled into the light pod(which is currently dangling by my knee) and noticed red turns out it had the fog conversion done. I was amazed lol had it for so long and never knew it!!!!
