depends on how you say scuffing were the pads down to the steel? if so it could be that the discs are scored and the new pads not bedded in to them yet, noisey wheel bearing,or slightly warped disc could be any of these really

if you look on ebay.com and do a 300zx search there is a guy on there who does vinyl trim kits in vertially every colour they are $73 plus postage my white kit came off him and they are not bad quality he used to sell on uk ebay but for some reason has stopped

hi david the paint i bought was off the shelf as my local halfords dont mix paint on site but have tried paint from various places they are all pretty much the same colour (more creamy than the white on the z) plus thay all call it artic white where as in an earlier post by steve nissan only use super white but as i posted the nissan original paint is as near as damit so it looks like the after market suppliers have got there codes wrong somwhere

i'm not sure it's funny that halfords and everyone else call it artic white and it is generally a more creamy white to the white on my z so anyway have just been to my nissan dealer and bought a 326 white from them the only difference is the paint from nissan is cellulose and the other brands are acryllic but the nissan paint is a pretty close match only prob is it costs twice as much as normal aerosols

i'm trying to locate the right colour white for my z i've just fitted a new nose panel so i went and bought the paint my colour code is 326 but when i held the sprayed panel to the car it's more of a creamy white than the car, looking around the web i found nissan did 326 super white on the z but the 326 from halfords etc is artic white is there 2 different whites with the same code? thanks for any help in advance kev

as legrath my diagnosis would be head gasket rather than air lock check oil for white sludge and check water for oil deposits the other common head gasket prob is white smoke out of the exhaust also when cold take the rad cap off and see if there is any pressure in the cooling system anothe tell tail sign hope this helps kev
