  1. Just to revive this threa. I pretty much put all the stuff in place apart from the 24 valve sticker which is still there. Anyway, the last point i haven't done is the front bumper. I'm really torn as to whether to get the stillen type 3 lip which will cost around £230 - £240 or go with the 99 spec that's in the garage, and possibly put a lip on that. What's everyone's thoughts?
  2. Im not sure if it helps at all, but I got one of these when I was looking. I think it was a little cheaper at the time though. http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/accessories-car-batteries/car-batteries/popular-car-battery/068-car-batteries/?444770687&0&cc5_1017
  3. This is true, I have or have had everything, although the Altia ones (2 sets of them) are in the loft rather than the garage. Yup, I have the none illuminated ones are well somewhere. I never really sell anything because there's just too much crap goes with the selling and I'd hate for someone to feel I'd ripped them off in any way as I simply wouldn't do it and would end up just giving the money back and being without the bits. The only thing I did sell that was rare was a spare Veilside Evolution Exhaust I had sitting around doing nothing.
  4. Time clearlY flies. I remember that conversation though. Mainly the millions of horses ;-) I believe the car might have sold now as its ended on eBay
  5. It's definately redbarons car. I've also seen it in the flesh as he brought it to the lakes back end of last year.
  6. It's the stillen type 3 you're after I'm guessing. Same here. I've just spoken to Mike at MJP, he can get it here and delivered for£233.99 at present. Not sure if he'd be able to do it cheaper if there's a couple of us. Guessing it could save on shipping and customs perhaps.
  7. Just looked on the nissan fast system and I can't even see the pipes listed... Unless I'm missing something. I'd if just a 10mm OD pipe, I'm sure I could find some
  8. I take it copper wouldnt work?
  9. Jeff, another quick question, sorry! So is it a certain type of 10mm pipe I'd need or is it a specific type? Like copper, steel, alumi etc?
  10. Might see if I can order something
  11. To answer your post, I'd personally say the clutch booster should come with the manual conversion you'd buy. Personally I think it hold definitely be fitted. I think it sucked when I didn't have it fitted. Very heavy clutch
  12. But he's got a manual balance bar. So he should just use it lol
  13. How heavy is the clutch? I didn't have a clutch booster when my old zed got converted, it was real heavy
  14. Actually, looking at it, that must be the bit the goes across to the pipes I need
  15. This isn't the part is it? Not sure if it looks big enough but then thinking... It could be lol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222008061126?clk_rvr_id=977647128998&rmvSB=true&ul_ref=http%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F1%252F710-53481-19255-0%252F1%253Ficep_ff3%253D2%2526pub%253D5575125332%2526toolid%253D10001%2526campid%253D5337743867%2526customid%253D%2526icep_item%253D222008061126%2526ipn%253Dpsmain%2526icep_vectorid%253D229508%2526kwid%253D902099%2526mtid%253D824%2526kw%253Dlg%2526srcrot%253D710-53481-19255-0%2526rvr_id%253D977647128998&ul_noapp=true
  16. Any idea what condition they're in as I'd guess most are rotten or near the end of their lives like mine
  17. I do like the Veilside Andrews. i meant to comment on FB last night but forgot. Doing great bud
  18. Thanks Jeff. Think I'd like to have a go at replacing it... Probably at home but I could probably get it on a ramp if need be. Does this look like the right stuff? The screws are 10mm thread but the pipe itself is 3/16". Or does the pipe itself need to be 10mm? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/251734266742?adgroupid=13585920426&hlpht=true&hlpv=2&rlsatarget=pla-131843278626&adtype=pla&ff3=1&lpid=122&poi=&ul_noapp=true&limghlpsr=true&ff19=0&googleloc=1006886&device=c&chn=ps&campaignid=207297426&crdt=0&ff12=67&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff14=122&viphx=1&ops=true&ff13=80
  19. Thanks Jeff. So would I be best doing doing the lot? Or is it a real pita?
  20. I'm not positive jeff but it looks like it's around the bend area where it goes up above the subframe. Are these kind of things easy enough for garages to do though?
  21. It's the metal lines that rung from front to back of the car under a plastic cover if that helps. Defo not hoses as in rubber
  22. Thanks Ian, I googled it but struggled to find much so I'm not sure whether im typing the wrong stuff in. Me referring to them as lines... Is that rights?
