  1. Nope. Even the top of the dash was done mate
  2. Happy birthday mate
  3. About £2500 mate from memory of looking at the paperwork.
  4. Started with her today but the rain came so not had very long. So, the drivers seat is back in lol.
  5. They're Khan something or other lol
  6. It has a lot of positives to be fair. Things like cobra seats, proper full retrim by a dude in sunderland called kish (he's massively expensive too. It's the same person that did Steve-300zx's cream interior a few years back. The body work was done by PPS who as far as I'm aware was the first guy to turn out stunning wide arch zeds back in the day and a former forum trader. The wheels were more expensive than the whole car. It'll be great but there's a lot of work to do as well to be fair. So it'll be a driveway ornament for a while yet. Plus I still love the black zed. - - - Updated - - - I'm sad I pretty much gave a wing west bumper away a little while back
  7. All the interior is out more of less as he was doing some custom stuff with all the switches and things. I'll probably put that lot back to standard and go from there really. needs the brakes fixing too but otherwise, looks pretty good. I plan to get it back on the road though. I agree about the front bumper and the rear lights. I'm not so sure the 99 spec is the way to go in it though tbh. That being said, I'm not sure what is either. The previous owner spend a lot of cash on the car so it's just a shame he lost his motivation and that with working away so much. He had quite a few offers to ultimately break the car which he didn't really want to happen. It's actually a very low mileage zed too but I need to work out what the actual mileage should be as it was in Kim's at around 50k, then the clocks were changed and then ran in MPH but the numbers on the clock were a bit lower. So, I'm not sure what to do here.
  8. Needs some work etc but here it is. Let me know what you think.
  9. Are these the same as the normal shag pile ones? They seem to look nicer that all.
  10. The blue pipe did. The accordion pipe wasnt noticeable at all. Might be to do with the position of the damage and the way the air flows. I did a smoke test without the turbo to intercooler pip connected (blocked the turbo) to try and isolate the pipework as I fleet that would be a good idea and it showed this hidden gem which is awesome.
  11. I can't see what everyone voted sadly. I've been in a zed since 2005 but had this one since 2007. Great idea for a thread mate
  12. I'm not so sure the accordion pipe is due to heat tbh. I think it's probably happened while it's been getting pushed on as they'll be a bit of a pain. The blue pipe touched the stupid pentroof manifolds I have and didn't last long as the heat wrap is a bit fried. It's just an ash spec but given that I'm waiting for it to get some proper pipe work made up, it's not really worth spending loads on that bit
  13. Welcome back mate. Hope someone knows the answer
  14. I need an accordion pipe from a TT. Drivers side if anyone can help
  15. So, I've blown another hole in one of these rubbish pipes - Paul is thankfully going to make me some bespoke ones sometime in the new year which is awesome. Anyway, while I had a few pipes off, I decided to do some tests to see if I could find any other air leaks as although the car was fine, I've suspected a little one somewhere, and ive found it, hidden where in can't see :)
  16. I very much doubt PayPal would simply give out an address due to DPA. Especially if you sent someone money as a gift. Like wise, if it's the for sale thread I found, I can't see it being worth the effort or cost of taking it further imo. Plus wouldn't you need to pay solicitor fees etc for a county court judgment? All sounds like it'd outweigh the cost of the bumper and a replacement. Sadly, this kind of thing is why I've never really sold any of the awesome stuff I have lying around, I would hate for anyone to think I'd purposely sell anything that's duff as i simply wouldn't.
  17. I'm not, I'm just curious as I felt no difference (but wasn't exactly driving fast either). But, if it really had made no odds, then I'd buy cheaper. Since it might set, I wont
  18. I have them (Zeta S). They're set to soft but I don't have the other upgraded bits sadly. I also don't have a scoobysnacks about spring rates and all that or how to check or change them. I think they're okay but I recon if I knew the stuff above, they'd be better. I remember putting brand new stock suspension on my first zed and it was glorious
  19. It was the first time I've ever put the lower grade fuel in the zed in all the years of ownership so o was just curious about the advantages/disadvantages as it seems to make no difference in the few miles ive drove since.
  20. Erm... It's over that at the wheels! Good call andrew.
  21. To be honest, it's rare than I really put my foot down to be honest. But this is the kind of thing I want to know. So are we sure I'd get detonation from using worth fuel just because it was mapped when on v-power? Wheres Noz when you need him
  22. I guess UK cars should be taken out of the equation a little as they're meant to run on the lower grade petrol. I guess the ultimate question here is... Should I pay 99p for petrol at morrisons or asda etc or should I pay £1.13 or whatever for v-power.
  23. I'm still on the lookout for one too Tom. Did you order omit straight from the states?
  24. Welcome to the club mate. Nice car you have there.
