  1. Very true mate.
  2. Make the effort then haha. How's the car going mate?
  3. And what would the rest of you be having to eat?
  4. Must be nice lol. Lexx. Quite honestly I'd be happy to go anywhere at all as long as there is give and take from both areas.
  5. I guess from my perspective, there were 7 300's turned up and 4 were from between Middlesbrough and Sunderland plus there's at least another 4 or 5 that would probably turn up, maybe more. Off the top of my head I'm thinking dkboro (even tho I've still not met him lol), Harby, Paul, si mondo and Tom. I think Rose and Alex would be up for travelling up this way but I'm not too sure whether tony and Jan would. What I'm thinking is that I'd be up for doing more meets between both north east and yorks if the yorks guys would also be prepared to travel. The venue would need to change though as quite frankly, from experience, people won't keep travelling to the same place.
  6. It could cause it to mis. A few people use cable ties and tape etc to keep them on although I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Might be worth trying a boost leak test. Do you know anyone in your area with a conzult or something similar?
  7. I doubt ill be going for the 2 hour drive every month to be honest mate. I might go if its at different venues etc
  8. Ill be there as normal. Either the Thursday or the Friday depending on babysitters lol
  9. Graham I hope the op goes well mate. Gutted I won't see you this year. I've just bought mine and Neens tickets
  10. Definitely sounds like a wet MAF to me. Do you have a come filter by any chance?
  11. Anyone know where I can get a drain plug that will fit the koyo rad? Mine is threaded
  12. I couldn't fi it on here
  13. So does this sound right? 1 - fill the rad, with engine off. And give some time to bleed 2 - engine on and get the car up to temp 3 - fill overflow to H (while warm) 4 - allow engine to cool down, open ap and check, then fill the radiator some more Does that sound about right?
  14. Got a question as I keep seeing/hearing different views on this. When filling the system, am I right to do so with the heaters set to 40? Also should the heater fans be blowing? Now on the main main question, the overflow tank. Should I be filling this at all. A lot of stuff I've seen says no, but yet the manual says to fill it to 'H'. What's right?
  15. Try wigling the temp sender at the front of the engine. I what seemed to be a mis-fire and it was that. Would be worth checking some other stuff though too, like whether the connectors are clean and the TPS etc is set right
  16. I think Nigel and his boys took quite a few pictures on the way back
  17. Might be a bit late now, but if you'd said we could have probably sorted you out lol
  18. That sounds good to me. And matches what jeff said
  19. I always thought that you set it at 15 with a timing light but conzult would read it as 25
  20. Its getting there, I think it looks nice now
