hey guys, i was wondering if anyone in the know, could tell me where my friend stands in relation to the law, the man he knocked down was ok, just a grazed elbow and a couple of scrapes (i gave him a lift home with his bike in the boot) bike had a tiny bit of damage too. heres what happened....... i pulled out of a junction on the industrial estate in front of a bloke on a pushbike, then my friend followed in the van, but didnt see the bloke on the bike. he didnt quite hit him, more sort of that the bloke saw him pull out, went to swerve round him and went accross his bonnet and landed on the floor. no police or ambulance were called as the fella seemed ok, and had calmed down quite a bit by the time i dropped him off at his house. a couple of things i should add are that my mate was in the work van, how does this affect things? and also that the bike rider had no reflective or protective clothing, does that mean anything?? any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

cheers pal., but it gets stranger :-( i tried with a little wd40 and a tiny screwdriver, on the front right cyl. and both seem to have come back???????? but now its tapping like crazy! wtf is going on??????

no worries, just let me know, and just for info. the battery is at cost price, i.e what i would pay for it through work, no profit on battery or postage (which would be overnight courier) and this is a one off really as a favour :-) cant do it all the time or work will ask questions lol battery would be numax brand and i can get pretty much as many years warranty on it as long as i work there :-)

also, what numbers are the cylinders? wheres number 1 and then is it clockwise???

after further investigation, ive got 2 cylinders down :-( rear left and front right. im getting a spark, but the injector plugs are furry as hell. whats the best way to de scale the female half (loom half) of the connection? cheers and im a little puzzled as to why the other one has stopped firing now??????

hey guys! ive tracked down the missing cylinder (its dead all the time now) to the one at rear left if your facing the engine (closest to the brake servo) anyways ive swapped coil packs and its still that one thats dead, whats the next most common fail? and what else can i do to diagnose the fault? cheers

ive served my time in halfords / ripspeed a few years back, and was given NO training whatso ever! i knew my way around a car luckily, but you should have seen some of the ones that worked with me!!!!!!!!!!! i wouldent trust them for a second!

mine has done that too :-) but sat on the front seat! she comes int he car with me all the time and dosent bat an eyelid as long as i dont turn the music up :-)
