  3. hey guys! hopefully see you in a few hours :-) my number is 07875663822 if anyone needs to get in touch
  4. yeh, take it back for sure! they have blatently ripped you off, and they know it! youve gotta be mean though! dont take any shit from them, but give back loads!!!! that said, im rubbish at doing thigs like that lol, but you gotta stick up for your self :-)
  5. dont want to be a let down though after ive promised you all a BBQ lol, but on the plus side it would mean you not having to drive further away from home
  6. i think i have to disagree with you there. you shouldent have to have your car insured to sit on your drive. but if you are caught driving without the punishments should be MUCH more harsh!
  7. ok people, tomorrow is the day! hope my car dosent fall apart before i get there lol :-) not too sure what to do about a bbq though, its meant to be crappy weather..... would anyone have any objections to going to a pub for a bite to eat and a pint / chat?
  8. wow! thats be some beastly machine!
  9. cant wait to meet you both :-) will be a good day :-) and your welcomme back to mine for bbq after if you like, wont be anything fancy lol, just a few burgers etc lol and a beer or 2 :-)
  10. insurance is dodgy as hell! i pay £404 on my TT zed, and £556 for my 1.6 Xsara! WTF!!!
  11. oh he has, just he said hed split it with me if i lied for him ;-)
  12. Hmmmmm, im sure someone did an exact weight of allmost every removable component in a thread somewhere, but could have been on the almera club..... damn you bad memory
  13. how do pal, ck300zx will be on the case! when did you subscribe? i also know he is having a few issues loggin on at the moment, but he'll sort you asap! we used to have a huge backlog, but chris sorted it out :-) he wont let you down pal :-)
  14. tamworth indeed lol, i took mine there twice from wrexham, well worht the trip tbh. i took it there when i first got it for them to give it a really good check over and give me a list of things to work on. they know what to look for if anyone does lol! think that only set me back £50 ish and they stuck her on conzult too :-) then i took her back to get the cambelt done, and they do you a printout with photos of the swapped parts (great for when / if you sell on). but even better than that, is that there a really great bunch there! ive never been to a more friendly garage!!! oh, and welcome to the club :-)
  15. its at 10am if you can make it mate, then if weather is good bbq at mine after, not miles away :-)
  16. cheers jane! hes more than willing to buy a new bike for him! would probly make him feel better :-)
  17. thats my opinion too, but is it the law? ive ogt issues with pushbikes on the road anyway, i think there deadly, if you come round a corner you can go straight into the back of a slow biker :-( but thats a gripe for another day lol
  18. ahhhh, cheers, so on mine it was number 5 and 2 :-)
  19. he didnt take any reg etc, but i gave him my card and he said hed give me a shout in the morning. mentioned not wanting to go through insurance etc as he left my car, but you never know with people these days, he may say hes traumatised and try and sue for billions, you know how people are these days
  20. he had calmed down a lot, and we were just chatting, he said he was sorry for kicking off, as he did swing for my mate but i got inbetween. but i guess kicking off was understandable lol. he seemed fine really, but did say he was going to go to a&e to get checked out (bit of a poofter if you ask me, but its probly the right thing to do). my mate offered to completely pay for any damage, even buy a new bike if thats what the guy wanted, and hes a good lad like that, so i know he wont see him wrong. although there was very little wrong with the bike other than a scraped brake lever. he did seem like he could have been a bit of a scrounger though :-(
  21. it wasnt dark, just a bit overcast, it was about 18:45 this evening, and fully allowed to be driving the van (its his allocated work van). but it was bloody hard to see the guy in his dark clothing....... and thanks about calling your sister
  22. we'll tell the boss in the morning, just so as hes in the picture. weve got a fleet of vehicles so hes more than used to bumps etc lol. i was more worried about the bloke seeing $$$ shuold my mate tell the police do you think?
  23. only been standing for a few days, but as i said, i do suffer from sticky lifters, so not too bothered really about the tapping at the moment. ive been askig some of the mechanics in work about the green fur, and they all said hot water, what do you think? also they sugested that the injectorsd may share the same earth and thats why cleaning one plug seemed to help the other cyl?
