but i thought when they overheat you get the rrod, if you get sound and no pic i would think it would be the cables, do you have the option of fitting the rca cables instead of the scart socket may even be a scart prob in the back of the xbox if it is the rrod, im sure someone done a fix with pennies and posted it on this site

im lookin forward to this more than the v8 conversions, conversions will work no matter how good or bad, taking the chance on a single tub conversion is a no mans land conquest its a big leap of faith type of project and i love it fingers crossed for your first drive mate top work

is there any sound, may be the cables from the box to the tv, maybe the scart, im no expert though

i wouldnt like to break, i would like to sell as one full car what would a new engine cost??? wish i had a drive or garage, i would keep it and sorn it till i had the funds to get an engine rebuild, i have spent so much on it over the years, and i have done most of the work so know its been done properly it maybe ok as i havent driven much since the knocking started, if its just shells then all will be fine, if its crank then im not sure i have the funds to remove the crank and rebuild the bottom end
