  1. it doesnt sound much but 14.5 psi roughly one bar - standard full boost 9psi or .63 bar if you tweak it just a little to 12psi or .84 bar probably better due to less chance of detonation still gives you healthy 30% extra boost .....

  5. The 4.2 is not far off the pace of a 4.5 at all ....4.5 runs a little hotter and has more mid range grunt perhaps , 4.2 maybe needs to be pushed a little bit harder and so not as economical .....get me, economical in a cerb ..thats a laugh !!! one of the best soundtracks of any car ever built even on tick over they have a menacing note to the exhaust ....on full chat its just sticky white love piddle inducing
  6. heard nothing but good reports about the DS 2500 pads i have the mintex and they squeel like a stuck pig
  7. either way the car needs some holes filled and prepped for paint as a minimum on the tail gate, the best bet would be to get a tailgate skin from zedcenter, while you are at it remove the rear wiper fill all the holes and respray the boot to match ,,if you are having painting done ....a really good mod to carry out at the sam etime is smoothing the stone guard from the rear bumper and sills and get them sprayed up at the same time , what a difference that makes ..HTH steve

  9. dont be concerned , Jeff is a top bloke and very helpfull not many know as much about zeds as he does
  10. Chris the speed is notorious for being brittle ...the best cerb is the 4.5 by far i agree the interior is fantastic and the look of the car is still fresh, the sound makes the hair on your neck stand up on end ....and there is nearly nothing that can keep up with them in a straight line .....do it you know you want to ..then come to mine and let me have a go :))
  11. would work for girlies as well .....they could put a t-shirt on that says baby with an arrow pointing down ( seen thoses t shirts they are naff , i mean what else could it be ??...trapped wind ? ) And take in 10 litres not 2.4 :))

  18. kidnap him and take him somewhere far far away and burn the soles of his feet with a lighter untill the skin peels off, soak his socks in vinegar and make the scum walk home ....if he does it again go further up and soak his kecks his in vinegar ....if only we could with all this PC garbage and human rights bolox.....keep a diary and keep video evidence and get an ASBO on the lot of them ..
  19. the fumes will probably poison you long before the noise deafens you
  20. that is a serious piece of kit and nicely done .........if the vileside front spoiler was changed for something less " melted welly" looking....it would be stunning
  21. Andy is as top fella fais ...my motor was at Saz's house so not that far away from you :))
  22. a car that fixes itself .............youve gone and bought ......Christine !! good luck mate welcome to the club
  23. you could always use a battery isolater switch ( like on rally prepared cars ) mount where required in the engine bay , the isolator switch has an in and an out terminal , cut the cable and put both ends of the cut cable into the out terminal of the switch thereby joining the cable again ...when the switch is in the isolated position the In terminal will be isolated from the car body and electrical supply, when you want to jump start the car turn the isolator switch to on and the in put terminal is then connected to the starter motor / battery cable ....
