  10. Should the cog on the right turn without any power?....as i cant get it to move either way. The main setup all turns and moves freely now after I have greased and lubed the shaft  Reason being that it just clicks and throws the cog out when I go to start and the SMotor is getting very warm so I reckon the powers getting their. I have checked all my connections and are now good.

  15. Left work yesterday at 3:15 only to find out my Zed wouldnt start. The solenoid was just clicking so loose connection or flat battery I thought. Checked battery..Green diode telling me its fully charged so its not that. Checked Battery terminals and found the Negative wire loose in its crimped clamp for the grounding kit...was making a connection but not enough to start her with. I thought "OK...I'll get a new battery clamp....so...i did...fitted it and now had excellent connections. Still wouldnt fookin start.... It was at this point it started to lash it down I tried jump starting it straight onto the terminals but it still didnt work. I thought the connections on the starter motor must be loose... SO i jacked it up and layed on the wet floor in shirt n trousers and had a butchers underneath. Couldnt see anything loose so I tried to jog the car in gear to free it up if it was a sticky thrower... In the end I got some peeps at work to bump start my Zed as there was a good enough connection for the drain of lights and ignition but not to start her. Get to J20 on the M25 to find that they have closed the fookin thing from J21 onwards...FFS :headvswal So I detour off towards Hemel Hempsted then St Albans then Hatfield and finnally back onto the A1M to head north. After about 1 hour I had made it to Hemel Hempstead at a rate of 2meters a minute..lol If your still reading this then your doing well... It is now really really lashing it down and I have to have my heaters on to keep the engine cool as I have a iffy pipe that can leak if it gets to hot. Its more humid than a fookin rainforest in the car and im sweating like a MOFO...So I wind the windows down an incy wincy bit only to get absoloutly drenched by the rain...FFS again. I get to St Albans about another hour later and realise that Im rather low on juice and could do with a refill...So I pull into a Shell garage and am about to switch the engine off to suddenly remember that my car wont start again as the starters fooked. So I think i'll just nip to the loo and leave the Zed running on the Turbo TImer and lock it....Get to the toilet block and its fookin locked...FFS ...Do they think im gonna nick the f#ckin toilet or summin? So back in the car and back in the Queue towards Hatfield only to find theirs been another accident on the M10 to hatfield..YES..FFS :headvswal Theres police and ambulance units nipping up the Hard shoulder and I really need to pull in and have a lash now but I cant for fear of blocking the emergency services. So im looking at myself in rear view mirror and notice a fanta bottle on the back seat.....Hmmmmmm........ For about 5minutes I seriously contemplated the unspeakable and lashing in the bottle but I just knew the projection angles just wernt gonna work and what would happen if I filled it up and still had more to go  Exactly....I backed out of that one and crossed my legs. I eventually find a small side road turn off after the M10 and pull in and unleash the realms within PPHHEEWWwww...... Anyhow....I eventually got home at about 7:30 when Id left at about 3:30...4 Hours to do a 40minute journey..FFS I get in and go and buy a jack from Halfords and jack the Zed up to find what I thought was the reason of my problems... Where the starter motor positive lead had been done up it not been located properly and when it was done up they had stripped the thread and so wasnt clamping properly. So I put an extra nut on to take up the play and in the process forget to disconect the battery and end up nearly arc welding my wrench to the feckin De-Cat system :xxx: ...FPMSL...left a slight crater. So i now have excellent connections all round and a good battery but the fooker still wont start...FFS :headvswal I remove the starter motor and in the process notice that the rear end of the motor is getting rather hot so the power must be reaching the unit but not being able to initiate it. I take the motor off...clean and lube the throw cogs system and put it back again thinking this has got to work...Will it FecK :headvswal :nono: So i eventually give up at 1am in the morning and make some dinner (bacon sarnies) and get some kip. I leave to goto work in my wifes car (clio) and get to the bottom of the A1M only to find the M25 is fookin closed again...AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh  Couldnt they have put some feckin signs up somewhere to let us know instead off all blocking the fooking roads :xxx: I face another 4Hours in traffic to get to work and then another 4Hours to get home again...needles to say I opted to go home. You ever wonder if some days you just shouldnt bother? lol...These are only minor trivial problems to suffer compared to some but I felt I needed to winge about it anyway... There.. I feel better already...Thankyou :duffer:
  16. ROFL  lol....oooppssss sorry... I mean Happy Birthday fella :duffer:

  18. Really???.....I thought they varied due to some bodily part functioning differently....but then im no scientist so whats the answer please... ps...Dont laugh at this but I've noticed that when I hammer the Marmite for several weeks my finger nails and hair seem to grow faster...or is it just my imagination? CheerZ
  19. Being in london you want to find the nearest welding supplies shop....Clarkes...727...Draper...etc... Just get the 1.2mm and 1.0mm mig tips... Each car is different so youd need a decent boost gauge (not std) and experiment with them to get aquired level of boost... If you need 0.8 to aquire that level of boost then you may have a leak somewhere as these can give you anywhere from 15-19psi depending on boost spikes.
  20. LOL...this probably wont help then :D
