I would agree... I have 1990 jap import n looks as good as day it was made underneath. If you get IMPORT then have a wax seal put on as imports dont normally have it. Havnt experienced any real probs with parts yet. Sayin that ....Bulbs are a right Fooker to get hold of.. U have to convert the bulbs u buy or do a headlight conversion... Moding the bulbs is much cheaper...matter of pennys.

I get a very small output of black/blue smoke sometimes from me Z when i give it some stick(when warm obviously). :cry: Not all the time...lasts about 2 secs. I have read threads on the forum and it suggests this could be the turbo seals. Have also read their only bout £20 but fittin is £650. :shock: Is their any way i can confirm this before shedding out my precious reddies? :confused: How long will the seals last if they have just started to fade??? :confused: Will i just loose power or will they cause damage to the engine?? I am concidering changeing the tubs complete as i want(NEED)more ooommph. Ultimately how long would my turbos last anyway as they are stock on a 1990 thats done 80,000miles now runnin 15psi...couple of days??? :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: so im thinking maybe JWT WS350-S2562. :confused: They say "core required"....What the feck is that. HHmmmmmm....ok.....Ive heard about the trouble with replacing the det sensor....Apparently its Wayyyyy down on the side of the block...Major arce hole. I dont know exactly what it sounds like (DET) but the engine seems to be a bit more vibrationy just before it pops into safety boost. It is normally ok under torque....just when its first started from cold. Could it be linked to crapee fuel from ESSO...its the 97ron supreme stuff. If i bypass the sensor exactly how much or what damage will it do to my Z???

Didnt hear it Det...just suddenly poped into safety boost :mad: I checked the ECU and that gave me code 34 which is DET. I will have a look at timing first then...Im all for saving my reddies :duffer: First time ever it happened in high gear as normally it will only happen when i first start car in mornin but fine few minutes later after i reset it. :dance: As for being sure about pressure....My Turbo Timer has a digital display that was readin max boost and the standard dash gauge was maxed out but i know the dash gauges are sheeiiit. I have had a proper gauge on it before to test the exact boost at Z-Tech and that read just over 15Psi. :nana2:

About 90mph+ pulling in 5th gear bout 3000rpm the turbos kick-in...loadsa welly...then...went into safety boost mode :mad: Is it normal tryin to pull too lower gear or should it not do that whatever the gear or revs??? :confused: Safety Boost normally only kicks in when i first start car in mornin...No problem any other time. Is it Kacky fuel or problem elsewhere?
