  1. I was expecting something a lot different to that.........phew!
  2. The streets of Sheffield echoed today to cries of " Super, Smashing, Great" as Bulleye's October 1986 Speedboat winners finally got a chance to use the fooker....
  3. Wise choice if one comes up. I bought bigger tubs and a low mileage engine last year and it's gone pop after a 1000 miles. Having it rebuilt now with a new bottom end, forged pistons, 550 injectors etc etc etc. If you're gonna use them turbos you know what you gotta do ;)
  4. Haven't done anything for about 3 years, Vale Tudo was the last thing I did. Its a mixed martial art crossing Jiu Jitsu and Roman Greco wrestling, pretty brutial but it works. I'm a bit older now :( so could do without the injurys so am thinking about good ol' boxing training to get my fitness back up. Good luck with it all though, you'll be fine ;)
  5. Are you offering to pay for his new turbos then? :smw:
  6. I'm wasted on here sometimes
  7. Last time mine failed on sills, corroded petrol tank and one worn hicas joint. All pretty common stuff on Zeds
  8. My Mothers clitoris is the talk of the village. People are always commenting on how wonderful its looks and what a pleasant aroma it gives off..........sorry I meant clematis
  9. Wrong! Their power figres are exactly the same and jap versions have a limted top speed, which of course can be removed.
  10. A couple in my street have one and it's had more things go wrong with it than Zed, and thats saying something. As Si said the head gaskets are a common failure on them.
  11. Reminds me of a few doorman I've worked with over the years......they talked utter shite and couldn't fight either
  12. Yep I've had loads of shite with British Gas. I swapped from Swalec to them early last year because they said I was playing far to much on my gas and they could save me money. Well guess what got my first bill and it was TWICE as fooking much, yes TWICE as fooking much  the lying, scanking tw@ts! I switched back to Swalec and they continued sending me bills for 10 months which increased every month even though I had changed suppliers and rang and sent letters. The last thing I heard was about 2 months ago saying they would call with the police present :headvswal
  13. Try Mike at MJP or David Ricerocket in the traders section ;)
  14. Thanks mate, I've e mailed them with the pictures, I'll let you know how I get on ;)
  15. If you think an auto is better you obviously can't drive......or something was seriously wrong with your manual  Of course there's so many people doing manual to AUTO conversions these days  225bhp
  16. Not for my car but for another member on here. He needs a new rear as it cannot be repaired. The rim size 17x10. Does anyone have a suggestions as where to source one from please? The pics are from when gruntpa had them on his car.
  17. A letter seems a really good start mate and at least then you can put everything down on paper that you want to say. Your making the first steps and it takes great courage to do so. I fell out with my father many years ago and we didn't speak for about 3-4 years. In the end I wrote a letter which fell on deaf ears but even though I was hurt he hadn't replied I felt relieved that I'd got all my emotions and feelings out. Not long after I rang him and told him I was going to call in and see him which I did and we sorted it all out there and then. Over the next 3 years we became very close, much more than when I was a child and I can't imagine how I would feel right now if I hadn't of made those steps forward because he died not that long ago. I can look back now and cherish those few years we had after I made contact with him. If the letter doesn't work (and remember they are both at a difficult age, hormonal etc) that's not the end. Give it time and write again or call until you get something positive back. Best of luck, keep us posted fella G
  18. I know that now! but with most things in life I have to learn the hard way :(
  19. I ran my Pug 106 on half diesel and veg oil for a little while as a test and it did work out a bit cheaper. Unfortunately it was a pig to start on cold mornings due to the thickness of the veg oil and then it fooked up the diesel pump which then cost £300 to repair!
  20. Fantastic idea and a lovely gesture, may the memory of Jay live on.
  21. Theres a few types mate auto/manual, twin turbo/N/A, Long wheel base(LWB)/short wheel base(SWB) what have you got as different models have different faults?
