Can't blame weather conditions or my driving (honest!). Turning left at a roundabout, familiar with the road, wasn't going fast, didn't gas it as I came off the bend and the car decided to do its best impression of a sidewinder :crying: Scared the bejeezus out of me and Marc and it was so lucky there was no traffic in the outside lane coz the car swirled from one lane to the other before I got control of it again. And then the back end skippet out on me doing 40mph on a straight piece of dual carriageway. Seriously brown trouser moment. Really don't know why it happened. Not sure if perhaps my tyres aren't quite right, but they have always felt ok...... Eeek!

Sounds very civilised. Cannot imagine that working here in Middlesbrough. Ugh, perish the thought! Some off licenses have security counters like when you go to the bank!!!

Ugh that must be horrendous! My office is on a hospital ward, its absolutely baking in there over winter - have to wear layers as its freezing on the walk in, but I have to wear summer stuff in the office if I don't wana die of heat exhaustion!

Just keeping my costs down - to be fair, the biggest cost for me is running it as my insurance is really low anyway - gotta save up for my student car!!

In summer when its hot! Would do it in the winter but its just too cold then I can't sleep when my body temp goes too low. Have even been known to get up and put a jumper on in the night in mid winter lol! So not sexy but I need my beauty sleep!

Thats not what I was driving at (no pun intended) - am not a prude by any sense of the imagination. I'll leave it as I'm not gonna get on my soapbox, not on this site it wouldn't even be worth starting, I just don't buy car magazines as they to me are barely concealed w@nk mags most of the time. Just think its out of place on a car club website and I've never come across it on any of ther other sites I use! Find it a strange competition - a monthly show and shine of our cars would be loads better in my humble opinion ;)
