  1. Several members, this question gets asked periodically!
  2. Guess I'm just old fashioned but my dad used to say if you ain't got anything nice to say then say nothing!FunkySi got banned not long after I joined, since then this place has been pretty chilled, so it just just a bit of a shock in the middle of an interesting thread, to see uncalled for abuse. Hope it doesn't happen again, I shall be VERY wary of this person in future
  3. I did 20 mins fat burning on the cross trainer earlier, man that was sweaty! Felt soooooooooo good after. Also did almost 300 sit ups and clearly a lot more inner thigh work than normal coz they hurt like merry hell now!! The gym is doing military style training classes at the moment, I am planning on doing one after a month of my new programme (just in case I die trying before then lol)
  4. Was it a 7 day ban? How do you know? See Vodkashots post about what he's been up to, this will enlighten you!
  5. I sometimes have a protein shake after the gym, or lean ham or tuna. I also drink LOTS of water throughout my session. Today I had a new programme done with 1 of the trainers at the gym. Oh My God, she's pushed me way outside my comfort zone. Its gonna hurt tomorrow! But got my goals for this month and feel so motivated. Just need to burn more fat and try not to build my calves and shoulders too much more or I'll look like a hod carrier
  6. Really? I'm still a newbie really, only been on here a year, so don't know a lot of history, just was shocked to see an unprovoked attack on someone I consider to be a decent bloke! Really no need for it!
  7. You know what Allan, I know YOU would! Just someone having a dig at my mate Ian on here, for no good reason and its cowardly
  8. Take it OFF FORUM if its personal stuff, there is no need to pick fights with members on here! Its the grown up way of dealing with things you know - talking through issues with someone you have a problem with!
  9. Good luck - and if she breaks your hand squeezing whilst she's pushing don't you DARE say ow lol!
  10. Seriously, just no need. Suspect they would not just come over to you in a pub and say the same....
  11. Wow, you're HILARIOUS! Stop it please, there is no need. I've reported your post - take up personal issues off the forum - save the bitch fits for when you meet up eh, sugar lips?
  12. Is it because its easy to fire the bullets across cyberspace? Suspect some people wouldn't have the bolleaux to say the same stuff in person! RRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR! No need!
  13. No its so they can have another "fag break"
  14. Any more sleep last night? Hope so :sleep1::sleep1::sleep1:

  17. Zed Hospital! I'll team up with Jeff's lot and check out your injuries whilst the Zeds get fixed lol
  18. Yeah, Marc! Sleep walks, talks, shouts - 2 nights ago he shot out of bed, on all fours, and start shouting at stuff in the corner of the room! He used to set the alarm off when he lived with his parents, falling down the stairs at night!
  19. Ok, do you mind if I don't read those posts?!! :scared: So if you're suffering depression, is that being treated? If not, suggest you talk to a different GP and make a double appointment and go through EVERYTHING. Because the 2 things are in isolation, they are a vicious cycle, one worsens the other and so on and so on. Any decent GP worth their salt will see this whole situation is having a huge detrimental impact on your life Please get more help Steams! x
  20. And, dare I suggest it in a forum full of blokes, a w@nk or sex not long before you turn in? Never met a bloke who doesn't wanna sleep afterwards....:winkiss:
  21. Marc used to suffer with this, as well as severe insomnia when we met. He ended up sleeping almost all day when not at work and then being awake all night. For him though it was mostly due to a big bereavement that just totally turned his world upside down, and the subsequent emotional turmoil. Now we're together and his life is more structured and he is happier, he has an almost normal sleep pattern but it took ages. His restless legs have resolved now too. Be careful with weed, having smoked far too much of it as a teen, the side effects are not funny. I had the worst paranoia attack at Glastonbury one year, almost never touched it since Please get some professional help x
  22. Znut's got a point - how active are you on a daily basis? I do a desk job (for the next 6 weeks then no more, woohoo!) and I find I really need the gym/bike ride etc to physically tire me out If lack of activity isn't an issue and you're on the super duper strength meds and they're still not working, then I suspect its a combination of a poor sleeping habit you can't break and possibly something deeper, that's preventing sleep (stuff on your mind?). Have you tried things like going to bed at a totally, different bedtime, thus breaking what would be your normal sleep (or lack thereof) cycle? So bed at say, 8pm. LAck of sleep isn't only just exhausting, your body needs it to regenerate and to function properly. Without adequate sleep, you could be a danger to yourself and others. ITs been suggested that driving without sleep is like driving drunk :scared: Seriously, please see your GP and get a referral to a specialist -and don't take no for an answer. Find out in advance who or where the local specialist is and ask specifically to be referred there Hugs J x
