  1. I went to Thoresby some years... not sure about this particular one. That was back in the Red JIB days. I recognize quite a few cars/names but most are long gone.
  2. A pair of cam pulley covers. Fixing holes and threads all OK
  3. He is testing the 300 today. He might or might not run tomorro in it. He also has his Evo which Martyna is having a go in today!!!
  4. That is why Nissan designed and fitted a two piece prop with a damped bearing... to reduce NVH. If you replace a two piece with a one piece then you simply reintroduce it. You dont need a jury to discuss it. Its an engineering fact. Even my super light carbon fibre SWB prop does it. It will simply be more noticable on your longer prop.
  5. The seats are 99 spec just not recaros. It does have the Version R skirts. It has been "altered/modified" cos its got a Momo wheel Does the "R" in the description mean its ben "repaired"??
  6. I know you are trying to be helpful Si but I would never consider buying a metal brake pipe from Nissan. One of my key mantras in the car world is "built not bought" so the concept of buying such an item is just alien to me. You and many others take a different view of course. Brake pipes are always available "same day" at Slick Pete's workshop. Either in copper or Kunifer. Making them is a POP... its the removal, cleaning and refitting that is the tedious bit. Total cost for all four pipes is less than a fiver. Of course my home made items wont pass the "Funky Si" test but they are new safe and MOT able.
  7. Today was mainly spent sodding about with brakes on my spare slicktop. Lots of cleaning and wire brushing. I needed to fit some new caliper brake pipes to bring the car up to MOT standard. Bit of a PITA but both front and rear done on RHS. Also fitted some lightly used Stillen discs on the front. The backs are near new grooved and dimpled ones. A quick run to the MOT station will clean them up from standing. Not done LHS yet so more tedium tomorro I fear. Hopefully the whole car will be up to MOT standard by the weekend.
  8. Well I have seen it......quite a bit. You will not be disappointed.
  9. I'll just leave this here..................................................... and I dont give a f*&$*&k what anyone thinks about my car.:tt2:
  10. As Si has already indicated the figures are utter garbage. Sadly there is no way of getting an accurate and definitive on the Z32 numbers in the UK.
  11. I was referring to the wheels .
  12. If you are going to sell them dont waste any time and money on a professional refurb... you will never get the money back. Just clean them up yourself and use them till you decide permanently what you are doing. IMHO of course Sadly Rob expensive stuff does not sell easily or quickly in the UK. Classic example being the brakes he has up for sale. Even worse for Richie in the Emerald Isle. Potential buyers will struggle to view them before buying and shippping will put the price up.
  13. Well that rules out the "forged engine" claim then!!

  16. Short wheel base BLACK carpet in excellent condition. This is from a series 1 car so is the better quality item. I know it doesnt look black in the pics... it is.... jet black. Todays bright light makes it look greyish. This has been stored unused for 10 years in a dry storeage area. You can still see the little dimple marks where the Fairlady overmats sat. It has never been used without the mats. Outstanding undamaged condition. A quick shampoo and it will look like new. Open to offers as you will need to collect. 21. When you take in to consideration what a small club we are now and how far apart we all live it was a brilliant turn out. For me personally it is encouraging to see newer and younger members turning up with cars. On the day what stood out was the sheer diversity of models and styles that exist within the club and that are also appearing in the more recently formed Faceboook groups.
  22. They look very nice indeed.......but 235 wide rear?? That is narrower than a stock UK 300ZX???
  23. The bonnet is a large panel. I struggle with air supply on one and Im on a 3hp 14 cu ft/min 50L compressor. Just do it once and do it right. Paint...Paint...etc
  24. Paint......good Wrap......not good. shame you are not near me I could soon sort that bonnet out. Solid colours are very simple to paint. Even if you go for shitty wrap you will need to fix all the cracks in the bonnet as the wrap will not adhere properly to it. IMO of course
