  1. Sorry Fas, this is the later Series 1V model with combined on/off and control dial. :D Sorry Kev as this is a full UK model most of the panels are rusty......bit like yours really!!!! :nelson: It used to rev to 1000rpm Dave but it did take 54minutes to get there.!
  2. ARRRGGGHHHH!! What am I gonna do????? HELP!!!! Just got home from work and all of a sudden there is a loud bang and Ive got no drive........................................... on my Hotpoint Aquarius washer drier! :D :D :D looks like the drive belt has gone......soooooooo do I fix it or break it for parts and get another one. 1995 model,Full factory spec, one owner. used carefully. Colour ...errr ... WHITE. Any one want any parts or know a specialist in Nottingham area???? Anyone????
  3. I did 6.04secs for the 0 -60. Using my Kuhmo V70s. although I ran a 5.8sec 0-60 at York Dradstrip in April using the Mickey Thompsons. My best quarter at Brunters was a 14.8, once again I have gone slightly quicker at da Pod on the Mickey Thompsons. Did a 14.63 quarter. I was well pleased with my times at Bruntingthorpe. When all the figures are published in the J Tuner Table it should make interesting reading!!! :D :D several of you were seriously short shifting and also some of you overcooked the initial launch. ;) Actually they do use the clutch( they dip it momentarily) BUT they DONT LIFT off the accelerator!! Its called "power shifting" and the consequences of getting it wrong are dire indeed!!!
  4. The word cheap doesnt normally belong in the same sentence as Border!
  5. The whole day was just relaxed fun. Our J tuner hosts were top blokes and Brynn spent some time with each of us on a one to one interview. The photographer took individual mug shots and car shots as well as a big group shot with cars n owners. We also took part in some moving shots and witnessed how he makes those "apparently " high speed shots with cars only a couple of feet apart. My times were what I would expect from recent Santa Pod runs. Did a 0 -60 in 6.04 sec, best quarter of 14.8something and a top speed of 134/5 mph. I "might" have made 140 on my final run as I left it in 4th to 7300revs BUT I MISSED 5TH and PARTIALLY engaged 3rd.!!!! LOL!!! :nelson: A huge amount of time and effort by all the drivers and the J Tuner people. Im confident the article will be one to savour. As always it was good to meet up with some of the Midlands regulars and especially good to put some names to some new faces. ;) Hope to see you all at Jap Show and JAE. Bring It On!
  6. Mr Stevson is a top bloke . I have dealt with him on several occasions. Goodrich Approved. Does all the main shows and is always cheaper than anyone else by a country mile. He has done me 240Z hoses and other stuff.

  8. There is no such thing as too hot!!! Stop Moaning.. :mac1: . we have been waiting 9 months for this weather! :D :D
  9. Hay Fever. The definitive guide. Take a Cetirizine 10mg or a loratidine 10mg tablet EVERY day in season(not just when you feel ill) This will deal with most symptoms. IF your eyes are still troublesome get some Sodium Cromoglycate or Otrivine - Antistin eye drops as add on therapy. If Sneezing and nasal irritation are a problem then use a beclomethasone(Beconase) nasal spray. You NEED to use this EVERY DAY. as add on therapy. Else it DONT work. Regular treatment is the key to success, I cant emphasise that enough. Preventing the allergic/inflamatory reaction getting a hold is much easier than trying to suppress a full blown reaction. Occasionally using all three above together is not enough. If this is the case you need to see your GP for further additinal/alternative treatment. alway ask your pharmacist for unbranded generic products rather than Branded(more expensive) ones Typical prices(basec on my outlet) are 30 cetirizine 10mg. £3.95. 30 loratidine 10mg. £3.95 Sodium cromoglycate eye drops 10 ml. £2.99 Opticrom allerg Eye drops 5ml £3.99 Otrivine Antistin Eye drops 10ml £4 ish. Care Hay Fever relief spray(beclometha sone) £5.99 200 dose. Beconase Spray .. £5 ...or £7 ish depending on size.
  10. No its not that Vinz. He's remembered he owes me a drink or three! :nelson:
