  6. Hi again, I thought id got this problem sorted, after tightening the water hose clips on the passenger side turbo, but seems to have started again but more to the centre of the engine as Markderby shows in his pic. thing is it definatley only leaks once the engine is switched off and sounds a bit strange but I think the amount it leaks seems to vary on how hard the cars been driven... is this due to pressure? Im assuming its impossible to reach theses pipe other than from underneath the engine... anyone in or around sheffield with a pit or a ramp who could help?? cheers Si
  7. Good to hear you got it back mate, fingers crossed its ok other than the ignition barrel
  8. Don't think I'd make it mate, when it first happened I'd was barely able to drive more than a couple of hours before steam was pluming out the bonnet around the battery area.
  9. Sounds like a ball ache for your average tinkerer, dont think I have the facilities to be faffing takin the exhaust off. looks like im gonna have to find a decent trustworthy garage... not found many of those in Sheffield unfortunatley lol
  10. Hi mate, sorry to hear about your Zed, I live in Sheffield myself, Ill keep my eyes open, which area was it stolen from?
  11. Wow thanks alot mate I've been looking all over for a pic like that. But how the F@ck do you get to those lol Im thinkin it's the lower one but if I can it might be worth changing what I can. Any idea what the inside diameter is on those pipes? Thanks again mate well appreciated
  12. Thanks for all your comments Steam defo seems to be starting lower than the plenum and comin up the side/corner of the engine
  13. Hi guys I seem to be getting a lot of steam coming from the rear of the engine on the passenger side cant seem to pin point where its coming from. Ive shone the torch down there and it seems to be around the turbo area but still cant see any leaks, it doesnt smell like oil theirs no sign of a leak under the car either so im assuming the leak doesnt start until the car gets warm. Im fairly sure its a water leak as the water in the radiator seemed to be quite low. any help and suggestions greatly appreciated Cheers Si
  14. Hi Manta, nice to recognise another old name lol there is always a method in the madness lol got some kind water leak from the back of the engine on the battery side but can't see where it's comin from I'll write a post in the help section later :-)

  18. Finally found time to investigate and it defo seems to be the pump not the hoses that's gone, it seems to be leaking from the shaft which also seems to have come put of the pump slightly and is bent to one side. Anyone know of any how to's on replacing the pump?
  19. Is there any how to's on replaceing either the high pressure hoses or PAS pump on the net? had a look on here and on google but I can't seem to find any
  20. Nice one mate, we got a Pirtek not too far from me, do they do the hose while you wait? Thanks for all the replies guys, much appreciated
