Hi guys. As some of you may know my black UK zed is at jimmers for what I can only say some extensive refurbishments...ie,big engine build A/C recommissioned Big brake up grade and body work,but one thing I wasn’t counting on was a wheel change :sad:as I love my AZEV’s but the brakes I’ve/we’ve fitted are that big the wheels will not go over the callipers so I think its time for a new refreshing change and some new wheels :yes: and all is not lost as the AZEV’s will be donated to my impul as they should look nice on her. tyres have already turned up so just waiting on the wheels.

Nice one Tom,you won't go wrong now bud,not only is it nice to be as thorough as Jim but he is always there for you...I mean Christ it's Sunday 10 pm at night and that mans still talking shop with me:wacko:and yes I maybe spending a million quid with him but it's not just about the money with jimmer he genuinely does care about how your car should look feel and perform...I have so much admeration for the man....and yes I know I am 5 years behind where I should of been using other people rather than jimmer,but life is like that tom..we live and learn bud ;)

So been with bennetts for 5 years and always had competitive motorcycle insurance quotes,but this year for some reason they of gone of the scale! This year they want £380 for my insurance with 5 years no claims,when ringing them they said that was there best price....but he would run my details again and see if there was anything that he could do,so after 10 minutes running through my details again he miraculously got it down to £280, so after telling them I'd get back to them and him giving me a reference number Id get back to him, so after spending some time on the internet I ended up with Hastings for £120 and got exstra personal cover with that as well,when I did ring bennetts back to see if they could beat the quote they said he couldn't get anywhere near it and that I should take there insurance quote lol,they said they were a on line broker and can't compete with proper insurances... So what they just try to rip the arse out of there loyal customers?? It's always best to get other quotes even though you think your getting a good deal

Well what can I say,I’ve lived with this daily now for just over 2 years and I’ve enjoyed ever single minute of it....what a car and yes ok I’ve spent 3 million pounds on fuel but I didn’t buy it for economy:) I’ve just had too put over a grands worth of discs and pads all round and new tyres all round and a recent grands worth of serving but you cannot complain at that with nearly 500bhp on tap,so do I sell her or do I keep her for another year is my dilemma Or do I draft that engine in one of my zeds lol

Will this mean I have to wash mine tom

Come on guys we are all intelligent people here...this thread was started for exactly this reason for a reaction,you can’t come here and rub our f....noses in it and not exspect us to say nothing that’s just not exceptional this man ROBBED & CONNED us plain and simple and with no remorse what so ever,so I’m never going to keep quite and put up and shut up! Jesus Christ I’d be careful about advocating Lee as a mechanic there Chris!! There’s so much people don’t know about him and what shit he left some of us in,I’m still paying for his shit workmanship he did and yes I hope all the new comers read this to stay well clear of him frankly,if it works for you mate then I’m glad for you but personally I won’t be taking my car there for a wash never mind mechanical work its absolutely shit :)

Great news mark,sounds pretty much like for like I'm having done to mine with jimmer,even down to the aircon and rusty cross member lol,I need body work done to mine as the rear arches need doing properly,who,did the bodywork on your zed? I've needed my arches doing for the last 10 years...luckily because it spends all its life in the garage or garages it never gets any worse

Yep been there and wore the T shirt...sold my zed years ago,then weeks later realising my mistake took me a whole year but foud the guy who bought it,done a deal and bought I back,cost a whole load more than I sold it for and he had ruined the look of it with those body kit bits you hate,took them all of back to how it was when I had it originally:)...and one thing I can say being lucky enough to have a V8 C63 for my daily and yes it's a fantastic car....but ther no way I'd sell my zed again, keep it bud and just store it if your sick of the sight of it but don't sell a car you have put so much money and love into.....in fact send it up to me and I'll store it for you ;)

Great news Tazz6665 some very impressive figures:) Greg did mine last year and she put put out 480 bhp,the very next day my brother and I went for a drive I was driving my zed and he was in my C63 and believe me on any straight road he couldn't over take me,my next trip to Greg will be in a month or two with some serious upgrades and it will be very different:) I'd better get a faster daily lol
