I know the feeling bud, I have just bought a Merc CLK350 Sport convertible, I have the Zed in the lockup and I still drive the van LOL. Over £1000 in insurance on the Merc and the Zed a year!! Allan

What sort of boat have you bought then bud? If its a petrol 4.3 (Mercruser??) you can get a LPG kit for it. More than likley it will be an Impco system. I have been running my ski boat on lpg for over ten years. 43p a Lt at the moment:0)

Got to say it has been a great car for the money, it was my ex partners, the 4x4 capability is amazing. pulled a 1.5 ton boat out of the water with no boat assistance in low ratio 4 wheel drive. It amazed everone at the ski club who had land rovers and land cruser's and only cost me £350 LOL so £50 profit :0) Ta da!!!!

The V5 was compleated before he left, he was quite a genuine bloke really but he should have left it and aranged insurance and a booked mot, or as I told him pick it up when he had a trailer or something. He could have towed it, as the towed vehical is deemed a trailer. I have sent the V5 to DVLA but photo copyed it just in case

I managed to sell my Vitara today for £400, It had no MOT or tax, it has been SORN for two years as it has been used to pull my boat fron the water at the water ski club. The car has never left the site which is private land since the day the sorn went on. The guy came to see the Vitara knowing it han no tax or MOT and I stated it was sorn, He bought the car and paid me £400 in cash, we were both happy with the deal. I sugested he trailered it home but he insisted he would drive it back. I reiterated the situatin regarding the MOT, tax and sorn, I then sugested he left it on site and he could pick it up any time up untill december31st. He said no and duley took it away leaving his other vehical at the ski club as he said he would be about ten miniutes. Half hour has passed and I get a phone call expecting him to be waiting to get int the locked gates of the ski club. Needless to say he was ringing to say he had been stopped by an unmarked police car and waiting for the lorry to arive to take the Vitara to the pound and he was reported for no tax mot or insurance, and driving a sorn vehical on the public highway. SO IF YOU BUY A NEW CAR!!!!! do not risk "just" driving it home unless fully insured taxed and motd. I hope this never happens in this club to anyone, as you may not get your car back!! 9.5kw shower requires a 10mm cable, most shower insalations apart from recent builds only have a 6mm cable installed, you had better check befor you start wireing in a 9.5kw shower. If the breaker is only a 32amp you will need to upgardethe whole electrical system. this will now involve PART P regs Allan

If its a worcester 924 it will probably be either the diverter valve diaphram or the micro switch it operates, you can push the pin to free it. i havent done combi boilers for many years now, things have changed including the law. You can see the pin in the picture with the white cap it sits under a black cover with the microswitch. You can see the diaphram in pic 2. Pic 3 shows the black cover over the micro switch, you can just see the pin and the switch in the gap. See I cant tell you to push the pin or the switch to see if the pin is stuck, or turn the hot water tap on whilst wathcing to see if the pin moves and operates the switch, as It would be not correct to do so!!!

My wide kit has been on the car for six or seven years now, but is has not done that, its still as flat as the day it went on. also by boat is in the sun all summer on the lake and has not been effected. My be its the lamination thickness thats caused that problem. Allan
