You could get a Z32 that is fully running for that sort of price, would you not rather go that route? not a bad price if he gets it all done, but I'd be wary about what else it may need after standing for so long.

sometimes mine go a bit funny when they are proper flat, try again later and see what happens, if its still no good then get onto apple for a replacement!
