  1. Just £3.78 a litre. What size injectors you got Dan?
  2. Good luck finding any.
  3. Did these come pig tailed with the rubber but too? I've got one or two causing me issues now. Keep popping off.
  4. I'd call it unpractical instead of terrible, if the road is a good one it's good and the car handles really well, so much more predictable, it's just the poor quality surfaces that are annoying in every car are vastly worse.
  5. It's fine on good roads, sadly we don't have many of those in this country. It's the little roads where the buses and lorries chew the road up that are annoying. The worst bit is patch repairs, when Nynex (remember them?) went around laying all that cable they left these bits of mis matched Tarmac, sometimes it cuts straight across the road, acting like a 1.5" deep and 8" wide reverse speed bump, these are the devil. Feel uncomfortable in the van, in the zed there horrendous and because they cut across the whole width you can't even dodge them. The main road by my house is dire, gravel lorries go up and down it all day. I'm actually planning to drop the spring rate, maybe even as low as you and Joel 6-4, as the Bilstiens I had before were plenty compliant with my other mods. The car tends to skid on poor surfaces which hurts acceleration.
  6. Meh. Not gonna change now is it.
  7. I'm built out of inhuman components fortunately. You know what they say "If your gonna be dumb, you better be tough"
  8. Sounds about right on a street car, 6-8 is a bit more track inspired and 10-12 like what I've got is erm, probably track only.
  9. Cheers mate, that's what I was looking for. I didn't want to start enquiring before I'd made my mind up but obviously I need a ball park to asses whether I want to do it. I already have hicas delete etc but I like the idea of the weight loss and shorter ratio. Stock TT gears are long old gears.
  10. I'm not set on the idea 100% yet and as your closer Howard I'm happy to let you jump ahead in the que.
  11. I think for a street/circuit car it's fine. The issue comes when your launching hard on semi slicks. That seems to be the issue.
  12. I might be tempted if tickets remain available for long enough. It's 140 miles each way and way further east than I venture voluntarily, no track time. It looks like it might have all the worst bits without the good bit. Hrm
  13. Just toying about with ideas for next winter, (I know, I know) what's the going rate for an NA rear end these days? Don't need the upper or lower arms, just the frame, diff, half shafts and hubs. Also I hear midland turbos do t28 cores into stock turbos for a good price any details?
  14. How does it compare to a GPS signal such as a satnav? What wheels/tyres do you have?
  15. Ah winner! Yeah you will be fine, loads of people running big turbos on stock blocks, just gotta be careful. No amount of forged piston will stop you blowing it up on a crap map or a faulty component.
  16. The reputation is from the early ones I think. I had ES tension rod bushes myself for about 3/4 years without issue. I'd actually prefer them to rose joints.
  17. Il have to look at mine now. Sure it sits flat.
  18. I thought the block was the issue? I.e yours is toast.
  19. side by side that's shocking. Well done mate.
  20. I'm not sure when or if it changed but I think you may be right. However last year it was the same price as this. £10 per adult £5 per child These prices are for us as exihibitors, showing a Japanese car. If you were to turn up in a Vauxhall as a normal visitor your looking at £24 for an adult, a family ticket is £64. So quite a serious saving.
  21. Try expanding your search to Bournemouth or Southampton. It's right in the middle of both and there are plenty of hotels in both, particularly Bournemouth. For example; http://www.booking.com/searchresults.en-gb.html?city=-2590498&rows=20&error_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.booking.com%2Fcity%2Fgb%2Fbournemouth.en-gb.html%3Faid%3D318615%3Blabel%3DNew_English_EN_GBIE_19114759585-opYuFGETf6TMP4iyXWXmfASM75168947785%253Apl%253Ata%253Ap1%253Ap2%253Aac%253Aap1t1%253Aneg%3Bsid%3D4df0a455b505899f8467da15352c092f%3Bdcid%3D4%3Binac%3D0%26%3B&aid=318615&dcid=4&label=New_English_EN_GBIE_19114759585-opYuFGETf6TMP4iyXWXmfASM75168947785%3Apl%3Ata%3Ap1%3Ap2%3Aac%3Aap1t1%3Aneg&lang=en-gb&sid=4df0a455b505899f8467da15352c092f&sb=1&search_form_id=71eb87e54f43006d&checkin_monthday=30&checkin_year_month=2016-7&checkout_monthday=31&checkout_year_month=2016-7&ci_date=2016-07-30&co_date=2016-07-31&room1=A%2CA&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2&group_children=0
  22. Sorry for the delay guys, but snowed under at present. Meet point will be as suspected the Applemore Tesco. I will set this in stone this week. Payment can be paid either online in advance or in cash on the gate.
  23. I think older tbf. I suppose it depends of geography as well. I think technically its un PC to reference a persons skin colour at all.
