  1. 22!! I was 22 when I first wanted a Zed, i got mine last year when I was 34!!!!
  2. Wise man. Keep the updates coming though. We all love a pic :tt1:
  3. Good work Al. Have you signed up to Detailing World yet? Not recommended to go on there after a few stella's bud, can get very expensive!! i4detailing is a good place to find lots of stuff you might be interested in, and at reasonable prices too.
  4. That's an awesome Zed you've bought. I'd be excited too. Nice one.
  5. Thanks chaps. Glad of yours Phut, going to take mine down another 10mm at the front to level it out. Looks like i've got 5 bags of cement in the boot at the mo with the front being slightly higher. Worried about speed bumps though so toying with lifting the rear instead.
  6. My brakes are squeaking really bad at the moment. Been getting progressively worse over the last month. The pads have only covered 3000 miles but were nothing special as was stuck at short notice when getting them done. I'd ordered a set for a z31!! Will fitting new pads cure this or is it something more sinister?
  7. Top work fella. Fair play to you.
  8. It's like most of my relationships, tempestuous to say the least!! Just decided to put the spending on hold, enjoy it, and try and drive threads off topic. What do you reckon??
  9. It's been a while  Just cleaned it and was loving the reflection. :thumbup1: I was going to post a thread purely about the reflection but won't bother now. I'm back in love :yinyang:
  10. That's how mine sat pre drop. Just trying to give an informed answer to those asking how much to drop by. I've had no problems with mine thus far. Thanks again. You can see for yourself if we get a meet organised.
  11. This is how mine sits now on MeisterR coilovers and adjustable arms. I haven't encountered any problems so far. Not exactly slammed but improved handling and looks IMO.
  12. Thanks alot for that. Seems about right, before I lowered mine the rear seemed to sit really high. It looked like a 4x4, wasn't sure if this was a SWB trait.
  13. Just opened this thread and was ready to offer a bit of moral support. Glad to hear it's not needed now. Nice one on the new job buddy. Good times :-)
  14. Mine require a slimline socket like Alz suggested. Good excuse to get some nice shiny new ones to go with your wheels though bud.
  15. Trying to work out how much of a drop my car has had. I have measured from the ground to the top of the arch and my measurements are; Front 645mm Rear 635mm So is there anyone running standard wheels, tyres, suspension that could take the same measurement for me please? :cool3: Interested for my own records but also to assist another thread. Thanks in advance if one of you helpfull souls can help. Daffy.
  16. Not yet bud, waiting on the answer to this thread first!!
  17. Didn't see them as such, but they recommend them in the ad for the pulley. Wonder if they stock them?
  18. Have you asked 2F2C? I see they advise shorter belts, perhaps they can help you? Been looking for you but no part numbers. They all just say shorter!!
  19. That looks the dogs danglies. Top work fella.
  20. Nice pics. I really like your truck. Guy I know had an F150 Lightning. I know it's different but what an awesome bit of kit. What sort of mpg do you get?
  21. I just googled 'bluebirds footy chant' so I could post a suitable reply to cheer you up. You'll know how silly I feel now. lol.
  22. Anyone watching it? It's like a boxing match or pop concert!! Never seen anything like it at snooker before, what a start to a session. The worlds gone mad :walkman:
  23. Nice suggestion, looked at these on the back of an old Top Gear episode and subsequntly reading reviews. Polar opposite to a Zed but relevant to the initial post. Why so much love/hate for BMW's on this forum???
  24. Slightly off topic as it won't help solve your predicament, but having the same kit fitted to mine has transformed the way my car feels and handles. I had mine fitted by Silverbullet, who also did a 4 wheel allignment and my cars handling is now immense. Admittedly I have other suspension mods, but the DW eliminator has had the single most beneficial impact on stability/confidence. Pretty sure everyone else who has fitted it is happy, seems to me something is amiss and hopefully you'll sort it. Good luck.
  25. How much for the wheels Jim? .......... Only joking bud, looks like a goodun and liking the colour. Hope you have better luck with this one.
