Tooth whitening...
I'm currently deciding between having similar treatments or taking a year out. Travelling is more appealing if i'm honest lol.

Sounds good. I will be on site at some point tomorrow so i'll take some pics. It's still under construction but the block work should be finished. I'll send them to you and then give you a bell.

Cheers Craig. I think the guy thought it'd be just a case of a waterproof coating. And tbh I thought there'd be a product on the market. Not something i've ever dealt with though.

Any of you guys familiar with pond liners/coatings?
Cheers fellas. I'll have a look at the above. It is an infill between his house and adjacent pool complex. It'll have a covered bridge/walkway over it. I have the painting & decorating contract and he's asked me to look into possibilities for the 'pond' area. Pretty sure he'll be having Koi in there so may have to look into the insulating thing. Not sure why he's not keen on the liner option tbh. Pretty sure you can get them in most colours nowadays and as its a perfectly formed shape i'm sure it'd be the same concept as a swimming pool liner? Thanks for the replies so far. This place is like google with aacyual knowledge:cool2:

Any of you guys familiar with pond liners/coatings?
On a job at the moment and the customer has asked if we can provide a fully sealed and watertight pond coating. Not something i've used or that I am familiar with but seem to recall there are some guys on here that might be. The pond is a newly constructed one, 12metres x 6metres and 4 blocks deep (900mm). It will have a rendered finish to the walls. I was wondering if there is a product on the market suitable for this? I will be applying a 'synthaprufe' type coating before any further coatings if there is such a product. Thanks in advance for any info/advice.

Took a few pics outside the house
Very Very nice work. The fact you did it all yourself is massive kudos to you. Top work and looks stunning. That blue was a great choice.

D2 Brake conversions - Who's fitted them?
Quavey has D2 if I remember correctly? I'd uprate brakes before chasing any more horses, but that's just me. Along with adjustable arms and polybushes whilst going about it. This will give you loads of time to choose some new wheels to clear your new brakes, then change your mind about a hundred times before settling on the wheels you wanted originally

Decided to have a go at polishing.
Cheers Baz. Just been using 60,80,120 grit paper. then a 180 wet and dry pad. Then peek and autosol. It's coming on okay for a first attempt I reckon. Still a fair way to go yet though. Been pondering doing a plenum so thought i'd see how I get on with this first.

Here is where I'm at after a couple of hours. Forgot to get a total before but went from that to this Need to get a dremmel type tool me thinks. Any recommendations to cheaper alternatives and the type of accessory kit that might come in handy. Thanks peeps.

Car covers: An alternate view with GTR pics too.
I agree, that level of swirling isn't from a cover alone but they can't be good for paintwork. I'm going to see the guy who did the correction in a few days, hope he's working on one then

Car covers: An alternate view with GTR pics too.
This is just a link to a thread with some very nice pics of an R35 GTR which has been subject to a full paint correction and detail. If you read it you'll see a major cause of the problem is the use of a car cover. It is one I share if the car is left outside as even if they are 'strapped' down they will rub against the paint work and any contaminents will gradually mark your paintwork. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/137042-nissan-gt-r-swirl-city.html This is my personal standpoint and not meant to upset anyone. Just worth thinking about imo.

Clutch advice please , Rps.
Nice one H. I bought the same clutch/fly combo quite some time ago and am finally nearing the time to get it fitted as part of my manual conversion. I know another member is aboutt to fit the same one also. Glad of the positive feedback as I've been a little apprehensive about it, mainly due to the price. But like you say the service was awesome and seems like quality kit.

Rewiring most of the car.
I've just had mine upgraded to S2 aircon, well worth it bud.

Who used to own this?
Worth every penny imo. I really really like the work that The Vet did to that car.
