  1. went to halfrauds and they gave me some european remover key and dont fooookin fit or work. should have guessed really !!
  2. im trying to get the alpine headunit that came with the car out , I cant find any alpine removal keys anywhere !! not even on the net ( seems to be every make but alpine ) so anyone know how to get the dam thing out ?

  4. been reading about and came across a Golf mk4 R32 Bi-Turbo. Its a 3.2l bi - turbo pushing 550bhp stock!! cant find that much info on it though. apparently 0-60 in 3.7 secs out of the box !! :eek:

Ok , I have had a variety of subs over the years from 8-12" and none i have , have ever been able to his the deep sub notes i need them to, so now im looking to get 1 or 2 15" subs to make sure this time. Can anyone recommend any?? Also what about bass tubes as opposed to subs ?? better ,,worse ?? I know the 15" subs arnt as punchy as 10's and 12's but they just cant hit the notes i want. HELP !!

  13. Cheers bud, Got mine all checked over and Mapping was spot on but a sticking stepper motor !! ( idle control valve ) Sorted that and now idle is ......... ( as tina turner says ...SOLID AS A ROCK ...sits at 1000rpm dead now , Annoying how something so small can make the problems seem so big.
  14. pipes will be the prob only time u can get the engine to run without them is if u have engine management fitted which dosent use the maf ect
  15. how can that happen then ?? thought the turbo blew not sucked ?? and must have been a fooooked tubby for part to come off just by modding the zorst.
  16. thats ur fuel regulator bud , tighten the hose lines connected to it and all the clips u can see on the other ends of the hoses , should do the trick . You also could get 2 lengths of fuel hosing and remove all the metal lines and small rubber pipes and replace the hot , Less chance of leaks and easier to find if u do get any.

  20. good points all round. If people want to spend their time and money on something let em, As long as their happy . For example I was up Norris Designs today and he is sorting out a VW lupo which now has a audi TT lump in it , Cost the bloke a fortune but he is dead chuffed. Not to my taste but who cares.
  21. Deffo brakes upgrade first , then suspension , depending on how much u wanna spend , Tein coilovers or similar and as John said Skyline brakes , personally id recommend the R34 ones as they come with the shim where as the R33 dont and the squeal can be a killer!!
  22. id recommend the performance friction pads ,anyday of the week !! Zero brake fade and alot of the hight powered evo's and skylines are now using them also such as Norris designs 830 bhp evo and even has em on fis ferrari modena 360 also RC developments 950 bhp evo.Ive been running em for the last 1000 miles now although they do squeal very occassionally , when you slam the brakes on feels like ur face is being ripped off !! they are carbon metallic pads and also ceramic pads are available . few more details here : http://www.performancefriction.com/pages/faq.htm HTH
